I wash with Loreal glycolic acid face wash first. Now it does sting a little but it isn’t too bad. Follow up with face lotion.

I like the individual capsules but the product is very greasy feeling. It is also very thick and difficult to spread. I usually love Neutrogena but likely won’t be purchasing again.
