I have thick wavy hair which I don’t typically blow dry. I wanted a product I could use for air dry hair that would help tame frizz and add some definition to my wavy hair. R&CO products are always great quality and this Cool Wind creme is no exception. It smells great, isn’t too sticky or tacky, and a quarter size dollop worked through my hair helps to add some definition to my waves and keep frizz at bay.

First- if you have unruly, frizzy, course hair- be realistic with your expectations. If you have decent hair to begin with and just need a lite product to help it along, this is for you. Very lite weight, nice scent, no heavy or greasy residue. My hair has a slight beach wave but gets a bit frizzy if it air dries. This dries it perfectly!

This is easily one of my favorite products from R+Co. I bought the double pack of the travel size because it is much more affordable than buying the full size right now. I use it when I braid my hair overnight and let it air dry. My curls/waves last for the next 2 days (for reference my hair is flat, fine, and straight as an arrow). For my hair to hold a style for 2-3 days is a feat and this air dry creme is one of the few things that let’s me achieve that without weighing down my hair or leaving it with a crunchy feel or leftover residue. It soaks in to the hair like a dream and leaves the style but keeps your hair feeling like, well, hair! The scent is clean and fresh and barely noticeable in my opinion which is actually really lovely. Highly recommend this product and the travel size if the $32 for the full size is out of budget. I can make the 2 travel size last me about a 1 & 1/2 to 2 months.

The R+Co COOL WIND pH Perfect Air Dry Crème promises effortless air-dried hair with a frizz-free finish, but my experience with this product has been mixed.
While the concept of a pH-balanced air dry crème is appealing, the results I’ve achieved have been mediocre at best. Despite following the instructions and applying the product evenly throughout my damp hair, I found that my hair still ended up frizzy and lacking in smoothness.
One of the main issues I encountered with this product is its inability to effectively control frizz, especially in humid conditions. While it may work well for those with naturally smooth or straight hair, it seemed ill-equipped to handle the demands of my frizzy hair type.
On the positive side, I appreciated the subtle fragrance of the product, which was not overpowering or artificial. However, the scent alone was not enough to compensate for the lackluster results I experienced.
No Drama Mama –
I am so glad I bought the smallest size to try because this product is a complete waste of money. It has an overpowering smell of cheap cologne and made my hair drier, duller, and frizzier than when I use no product. The rest is going on the trash.

This product gives me definition, tames frizz and does leave my hair weighed down, greasy or sticky! I diffuse even though it’s an air dry cream & it works great. One of the best styling products I’ve used for my curly hair! A little goes a long way so a good bang for the buck as well! It also has a nice clean smell, not over powering like some.
