Brilliant, a bit pricey but worth it, would definitely recommend

I use this product all the time for my clients and I haven’t had any issues 🙂

Great product much better quality than the cheaper rolls you can buy from other sites the roll is not bent when it arrives and doesn’t fight you when you try to unroll also the thickness is much better than others I have used insuring less leaking from occurring from wounds

This stuff is much easier to apply to bendy bits. It conforms better after you take off the plastic applicator sheet. I had one customer who is a runner who said it did not make it after a work out. The most common “saniderm” on amazon stayed on better for him. So, yeah, this stuff isn’t perfect, but a number of customers who are allergic to the other stuff like this brand. I would suggest having more than one kind on hand to cover all your bases.

I think my biggest complaint is that the edges are hard to deal with when taking it off. There is a learning curve to getting it right. Maybe experiment with a friend the first few times before rolling it out on customers.

I used these as I have had a lot of tattoos done this year 8 full day sessions and got sick of constantly putting cream on every few hours so decided to give them a try, they did not itch as all and were easy to apply however they have no healed my tattoos they look like they were done 1-2 days ago the way they are peeling and I had them done 7 days ago, also they stick to some parts of the skin causing bleeding on removal wouldn’t recommend

  7. Eddy M.

It’s not possible to clean skin after it. Also after 3rd use I have alergy on it now

  8. Alexis

This is the only derm shield I use. Every other one has some type of issue. Some give a lot of people rashes, some have a weird glue that will stick to the skin for days once you take it off like hexderm. Some are just terrible products that I don’t even know why they’re still out in the market like the view guard by Dynarex, just plain terrible product. Recovery is hands down the best.

  9. Kate

This stuff is better then saniderm. Period. It feels like skin, is Latex free and the adhesive is strong but gentle enough to not leave a residue on the skin when removed. I was able to personally use this on myself and keep a patch on for at least 5 days.

I’m ten sessions in on a full back/left sleeve and have tried multiple, similar products. This one is, in my opinion, the best.

The first I tried gave me a rash and was really thick. The thickness was uncomfortable and tough to sleep with. I’ve used another one that leaves a lot of residue and actually tore my skin when I was removing it.

This product is the most comfortable and comes off much easier than the others. It isn’t thick but holds really well. I can barely feel it when it’s on. I take it off in the shower and it peels off easily. I’m not one to leave tattoo bandages on for more than two days so I can’t speak to how it works any longer than that but, for me, it’s perfect.

derm shield is the WAY to go soooo much better than saniderm it’s way more comfortable, can’t even tell it’s on your skin it’s THAT COMFY and it moves with your body very well, sticks 10x better than saniderm. i’ve used saniderm many times and decided to switch cuz of the irritation i’d get from saniderm. 10/10 would recommend you get urself derm shield for ur next tattoo!

I use this and one other adhesive bandage depending on my clients skin sensitivity. Most prefer this while a few still prefer the one I had been using for years until I found Derm Sheild. We get a lot of guest artists at the studio and most of them being this with them, and we see this used by many when we work at tattoo expos, so I’ve seen many of my peers also using this product. Love how it’s matte and makes the tattoo look healed already. Also most clients feel this stays on better and doesn’t cause as much irritation along the edges in thinner skin areas.
