Lightly scented but really does a great job at keeping curls looking soft and easy. Especially great for men!

This works well in conjunction w the cream 1st. It does make my hair feel a bit sticky/crunchy/stripped and after I sleep on it it’s not always salvageable even w the curl refresh spray. I have an different brand I like a bit better even w same concept of cream and then gel. That brand also leaves a bit of a film I’m not in love w but the hair is salvageable the next day w a little spritz refresh. I’m just not a huge fan of gels even when used in correspondence w cream, which is the recommendation for naturally curly high porosity hair

I bought this gel for my curly, frizzy, unruly hair. Unfortunately this didn’t do anything for me. My hair was frizzy and undefined. Would not recommend!

I love Redken products for my hair, even though I usually can’t stand the smell. I have a couple of the items in this “series” of products for curly hair, so I thought I would try this one.
It works, basically. It provides a frizz-free curl or wave, that is long-lasting and doesn’t give the hair a “crisp” feeling that a lot of gels dry with. But it’s expensive, like all Redken stuff, and I’m not sure it’s actually worth the price, considering all the competing products that do the same thing, cheaper. To be fair, you don’t need to use a lot, and it’s a big bottle, so if it’s more long-lasting that competitors it might be worth it.
One thing to note – I used it along with and also separate from the curl mist, and I didn’t notice a difference at all, so I think each product in this series can work just fine as a stand-alone.

This Redkin Sculpting Curl gel is pleasantly scented, with a light non-sticky gel formula. I have fine/wavy hair. I have to be careful what products I use as my hair can be easily weighted down. I was happy to see I did not have any issues with this. It didn’t weigh my hair down, or make it look dirty or greasy, I liked how it reduced frizz, and made my waves look healthy. I’ve found I have the best results when I work in a small amount on slightly damp hair. Another quality product from Redken.

I was looking for a replacement for a discontinued Redken product. This fills the bill.

My wife picked this hair gel and she was already really liking it when I decided to give it a try. She has full hair with lots of body and this gel gives her excellent control of it!
As a man in my late-50’s, I still have almost all of my hair and very little is grey, but where it is thinner is on the sides up high in front forming a sort of widow’s peak increasingly over the years.
With this gel, and just a small amount of it, maybe a pea-sized blob spread out on one hand and then throughout the area to control, I can easily manage my hair enough that my age-related hair loss is probably still unnoticeable at this point, at least without knowing what to look for.
It’s not the overpowering mud-like kind of gel either; it’s just a transparent nearly odorless gel that works extraordinarily well!

My hair loves this hair gel! I have a really hard time get a good cast on my hair, but this actually works for me! My hair is moisturized, shiny, smooth, and with good definition when I use this gel. Love!
