Clean out the old cartridge and refill from the large container. Fresh scent.

I always feel guilty throwing away the regular cartridges. Fortunately, I had one empty. Product seems to work. Doesn’t quite have the fresh ?lemony smell of the OEM, but smells fine. Probably 1/2 the cost of cartridges and 1/2 the plastic waste.

On first use it caused the screen on the Braun electric razor to rust overnight. I’m going to rinse it again and see if it continues to do it.
I’ve had this razor for 20+ years and never had this issue with the Norelco razor cleaner product.
If it continues to happen I will be requesting a full refund.

Don’t look confused. The actual container doesn’t look anything like the listing photo. However, it’s what’s inside that counts, right?
Well, don’t expect an exact substitute for the Braun cleaning solution. Instead, this uses isopropyl alcohol. That’s rubbing alcohol…and smells it. So, the cleaning station stinks. As does your shaver. Remember the alcohol that’s wiped on your arm when you get a shot? Now, imagine your face and neck being wiped with a medical swab. Except the swab is your shaving head that’s been soaking in rubbing alcohol.
Does it clean? I assume so. But, you get what you paid for. I have to ask myself was the savings really worth it?
