This TROXEDERM Repair Cream agrees really well with my dry, sensitive, mature (55+ skin), mostly because it feels gentle and also hydrates so well. It has a pleasing consistency as its thick and creamy with a nice firming feel. This lacks common irritants such as fragrance/parfum and fragrant essential oils that can trigger allergies and be just as irritating.

So far, this cream has agreed with my skin well used after a variety of serums. It has niacinamide and some sources say not to combine niacinamide with other actives like Vitamin C, AHAs, retinol and more, but Paula’s Choice takes a different view and my own experience is that I can use an AHA or Vitamin C serum, for example, and use this cream after without any discomfort or issues.

I use this cream day or night as it’s versatile and seems neutral in that it combines well with a range of other products. Some may prefer it as a night cream as it has a substantial feel (but I don’t find it heavy). My skin is well hydrated and calm, and my skin is soft and smooth. This cream absorbs well and doesn’t leave my skin greasy or tacky. My skin looks bright and glowy, which I love as my dry skin can look dull.

This cream has some great ingredients while nothing catches my eye as risky (but I’m not a skin care pro). This has many hydrating ingredients, plus stand out ingredients such as niacinamide (brightening), Troxerutin (antioxidant), centella asiatica extract (soothing, antioxidant), adenosine (smoothing), Actinidia Arguta juice (kiwi high in antoxidants such as Vitamin C and polyphenols) and more. Love it. 5 stars. Made in Korea.

TROXEDERM Repair Cream comes in a squeeze bottle, making it easy to dispense a small of product, if desired, so there is less waste.

It is unscented as far as I can tell. I have perfume allergies, so this does not bother me at all. The formula is in between a thick cold cream and lotion – it is a dense luxurious packed cream, but spreadable across the face.

Once applied, my face sucks it right up. It does not leave an oily, tacky, or dewy look. For a night cream it does feel lightweight on the face – it is almost like I could use it as day cream. I accidentally did a few times! For night use, I feel I could slap on another night cream or sleeping mask on top.

Results wise, it did a fine job. My skin is well moisturized without being oily, as well as a bit more even. I quite like using this product. The niacinamide in this works very well, better than others I’ve tried.

It is a small quantity and I find I do use quite a bit. It would last longer as a serum than a generous layer of night cream. That said, it is on the pricey side for what you get.

Korean skin care lines are typically very affordable than their western counterparts while still providing effective results. Even though this cream is manufactured in Korea, overall, I did not feel like its performance commands such a high price tag. There are quite a few good ingredients in the formula, including niacinamide, one of my favorite ingredients. I used the cream at night over a serum for a couple months. While I didn’t have any adverse reactions, I did not notice much of a change in terms of hydration and “glow”. The only thing I like about this cream is that tube dispenser. Other than that I feel that there are so many better performing creams on the market today that half the price of this one.

I’ve been looking for affordable repair cream for a long time. I tried many product and disappointed. But this cream works great for my skin! No chemical smells- I have allergies for strong scent. Very soothing and make my ski smooth.

This is a review of “TROXEDERM Repair Cream – Hydrating and Nourishing for Glowing Face and Fine Line Care, Contains Actinidia Arguta Extract, Troxerutin, Adenosine, and Niacinamide, for All Skin Types, 1.69 Fl. oz.”

I am already a fan of niacinamide. It is a part of my morning routine and I can see a difference when I don’t use it. So, I added this Troxederm to my nightly routine to see if it could work some magic on my skin while I slept. This repair cream doesn’t go on smoothly. It starts smooth, but gets sticky pretty quickly. It’s not something that I would use underneath makeup. To be fair, I was trying to not use too much (given the high price and low quantity of lotion). The lotion feels tacky on my face even an hour after applying it. Eventually that tackiness goes away. The Troxederm lotion doesn’t have a distinct smell. My skin can be sensitive to some products. This lotion hasn’t caused any irritation.

After using this cream regularly, I have noticed that my skin doesn’t feel or look as dry. I haven’t traditionally used a moisturizer at bedtime and it might be time to make that part of my routine. The appearance of my skin looks good – similar to the results that I see from the niacinamide that I use in my morning routine.

The repair cream comes from Korea. It is pretty pricey ($59 at the time of my order) for such a small quantity (1.69 oz).
