Does what it claims to do! Great for post-blemish care, especially if you pick your skin. I’ve been using this product for 2-3 weeks now, and it definitely calmed down my skin in general and helped dealing with scars. Although it’s a small tube, I’ve been using it very generously and it still has a ways to go!

So, disclaimer- I’ve had this two years, because I am stubborn, and I nursed the hell out of it. It’s sitting in a dark drawer, in an air conditioned room, when not in use (so, most times). I open it up for the first time in several months to notice the nozzle is damaged. The ointment inside smells… odd, is slightly clumped up, but spreads fine. When I buy this again, I’m just gonna bite the bullet and get the bigger package, if only to avoid this issue happening again.
And I will say- the ointment itself? Magical. Definitely helps blemishes (open or otherwise) heal quicker, especially overnight. I try to use an astringent or other drying agent before I use this, just to make sure any oozing is to a minimum. I do think that helps matters too. It doesn’t make everything disappear, mind you, but it does quicken healing from what I’ve noticed.

Jede Haut ist anders und nicht jeder reagiert gleich, aber es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass aus dem Pickel eine Wunde wird, die einfach nicht verheilt. Ich konnte zuerst nicht zuordnen, ob es von der Creme kommt da ich öfter mal kratze, habe es daher ein paar Mal probiert, aber jedesmal ist aus einem kleinen Pickel (Ich habe hormonell bedingt ab und zu kleine Pusteln, aber keine richtigen Pickel.) eine große Wunde geworden, fast schon wie eine Verbrennung, allerdings hat es nicht gebrannt oder große Schmerzen verursacht.

Had to have a mole removed on my lower arm….a very crude job was done, very jagged edges. It also got infected even though I followed all the aftercare instructions. Left such an unsightly scar with dark pink raised edges. Have been using this for about a week now. The edges are starting to soften, lighten in color, and starting to blend into my skin instead of the hard pool float ring I started with! It will always be a scar, but atleast it won’t be so hard and so obvious.

The first time I bought this product was in 2022, so this is after 2 years of use!
If you are someone like me who tends to pick and scratch at their blemishes a lot, then this product is a great step to add to your skincare routine post-pimple pop. It definitely sped up my healing time to 3-4 days as opposed to my normal 5-7.
Other things to note:
– It DOES NOT target hyperpigmentation and dark marks (it doesn’t promote that it does, but some previous reviews have noted they used it for that).
– It DOES target inflammation and redness that comes with irritation after a pimple pops.
– You do not need a lot of product. A thin, pea-sized amount over the blemish works.
– CONSISTENT USE, like with most skincare products, will yield you the best results.
– I found to help prevent hyperpigmentation, using this product under sunscreen is best.
All in all, I love this product and will continue to use it! I just wish they had a bigger size!
