  • RETINAL – More potent than a Retinol serum, it enhances skin texture and firmness by stimulating collagen production.
  • FINE LINE & WRINKLES – The mix of Retinal, Bio Retinol, and Peptides provides a multi-functional approach that targets facial muscles, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and helps maintain skin firmness and volume.
  • HYPERPIGMENTATION – Not only will the added Niacinamide serum help reduce discoloration such as age spots and skin imperfections, but it will also prevent water loss for additional anti-aging benefits.
  • UNEVEN TEXTURE & CLOGGED PORES – Retinal removes dead skin cells while promoting the generation of new ones, resulting in a smoother and clearer appearance.
  • GENTLE ON THE SKIN – By encapsulating the Retinal and combining it with Bisabolol and Ginger Extract, creating a formula gentle on the skin.

I usually use prescription retinol but I was curious about retinal. I used to use 0.5% but it was too irritating. I was using it for over a year, and the irritation would never go away So I switched to 0.25% and have had zero irritation but results have also been so slow the past 6 months. So I decided to try this one because it has additional benefits like peptides and niacinamide and is supposed to work faster. It is a very bright yellow but it disappears. I use about 3 pumps for my face at night. Surprisingly, it does not irritate my skin at all. It doesn’t seem to be working on my clogged pores any faster than the prescription retinol though. It’s also extremely overpriced.

This serum comes in a handy push dispenser, which isn’t common but is a nice addition. One push dispenses the pea-sized amount that you use each time. It covered my entire face easily and absorbed well. I didn’t care for the scent of the serum. It seems that often “unscented” serums have an unintentional scent that would have been better covered with an intentional scent. That would be my only complaint, though.

The packaging of this product is aesthetically pleasing; it comes in a sturdy box with a pretty ombre effect and embossed brand and product name. However, the white text on the light background makes it a little hard to read the ingredients. The bottle that contains the product protects it from light, and the well-fitting cap prevents the pump from being accidentally activated when in a travel bag. The 1oz bottle would travel well and wouldn’t take up too much room. The pump is perfect for my needs as it is very easy to dispense a very small amount. Since I only use small amounts of this product in targeted areas, I appreciate the level of control it provides. It also makes it easy to stretch out the product, too.

The serum is lightweight and absorbs easily into my skin. It leaves my skin feeling very soft, hydrated, and non-sticky. If there is a scent, I don’t notice it. I haven’t experienced any issues with using this product over the last couple of weeks. However, I am using it sparingly, as I mentioned, in targeted areas such as my forehead and under-eye area. So far, I’m pleased with the initial results of using this product and will continue to incorporate it into my PM skincare routine.
Since I’m satisfied with the hydrating and softening effects of this serum, achieved with such a small amount of product, I do feel like it offers decent value so far. I look forward to seeing the benefits of longer-term use.

Powerful as in be careful. I’ve got sensitive skin and always start small with a new product but this one is first off, amazing and secondly you don’t need much. The bottle is fun and work well to let me get out as much as I need. I really like the results but this does push me to the edge of what I can use in a single session. For those serious days only!

First off, the bottle that this product comes in is so cute. I love the colors and the pump makes the product really easy to disperse. It is really light, so I’m not sure how much product it actually includes inside it. Either way, I can cover my whole face with just one pump. The serum goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a sticky residue.
I have sensitive skin around my eyes, so I try really hard to avoid this area when applying a product i know has the tendency to irritate. I always make sure to apply a barrier cream to my eyelids and the area above my eyelid. With this serum I experienced irritation directly under my eye, which doesn’t normally happen. The skin was red and super itchy. I don’t apply the product there, I’m assuming it transfers while I am sleeping or working out the next morning. Even though I tried to follow the every other day rule when applying this product until my skin builds up tolerance, I experienced the irritation the next day after using the first time. I took a couple of days off and then tried applying it again making sure to apply barrier cream both under the eye and above it which seemed to help. This is a pretty strong product, so I think with long term use it could provide real results. I haven’t seen anything noticeably improved since using it.

This packaging and bottle itself is very aesthetically pleasing. Don’t be surprised when dispensed that the color is yellow. Thats the normal color. After applying make sure to add a moisturizer otherwise your face will be dry.

This is a very gentle Retinal that has moisturizing benefits. I really liked the cute packaging and pump bottle keeps the product neat and tidy and only dispenses the exact amount I would like to use. A little goes a long way and it absorbs very well into my skin. I do not get any irritation or dryness from this product and really notice a glow to my skin the next day after applying it at night.
