The RéVive Foaming Cleanser has been great for my skincare routine. it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and incredibly clean. A little pricey but worth it.

I do not purchase luxury products a lot, but I wanted to try this one. The previous gentle facial wash ran out and I wanted to try something new.
The bottle of this product has the upside down design, which is a plus, because it helps with using most of the product. However, know that I will most likely cut the tube open so I can use every little drop of this. A small amount goes a long way as this lathers up nicely and my face feels amazing after use.
There is a hint of a scent to this that seems like a mix of fruit and flower. Though I am not able to put a name on it. It’s very delicate. I cannot pronounce most of the ingredients on the list, but I recognize several that are in other skin products for hydration and care.
I like this and will likely buy this again.

My husband has fallen in love with the smell of me- or maybe, better said, this hydrating wash- ever since I began using it. Every time I use this face wash- he snuggles up next to me, just so he can smell it. I wish I could describe the smell better than this- but it has this light scent- that carries very well. I don’t know if I would describe it as like a tea tree oil, or a cucumber scent, but it is definitely one of the best-smelling items I have ever had, if not the best.

The thing I like about how this face wash functions, is that a little bit of it lathers well, and the lather is very thick- so you get this very clean feel after you wash your face. Plus, I think there is a hint of something that makes the face feel very fresh- like a peppermint or spearmint additive, something along those lines. I walk away after using this cream with the freshest feeling ever on my face.

If you look at the photos that I added with this review, you can see the little drop of face wash in my hand- you can see it has the slightest bit of “sparkle” to it- leaving your face with just the right “natural” amount of shine. Plus, you can see how well that little bit of face wash lathers on my hand, and as you add more water to it- it only gets thicker and thicker (until you rinse it off ;).

There are a few luxury items in my life that I could say were, hands down, worth it- this would be one of those items. This hydrating wash is worth the money spent on it- and it will be something that I buy in the future. As I get older I realize that soaps and lotions are important to keeping up with how well I look, and this is the best hydrating wash that I have ever used- making my face feel cleaner, fresher, and younger than it did before.

So, I looooove to treat myself with all of the high-end cleansers and such but I’m not as in love with this as I am with most. As most other folks have pointed out, a little goes a long way but it does leave a moisturized film on your face that I’m honestly not sure if I love. My skin is combination, Mediterranean, olive complexion and I break out super easily so the moisture that it leaves behind makes me really kinda nervous. It feels heavier than my regular face lotion so I’m al little concerned that daily use might cause me to break out. I may keep it as my winter face soap to help on the cooler, dry days. As far as price? It’s pricy but a little goes a long way and if you have dry skin, this might be a perfect fit for you!

  5. Jeneane Vanderhoof

I’m giving this a 4.5 star rating primarily due to the price.
I got this for my mom and she really likes it.
She only uses a small pea sized amount each time and it does a really good job cleansing and moisturizing (usually once per day).
At that usage amount, she thinks the tube will last about a year.

The cleanser seemed to have “gone bad”. It was chunky and dry unlike how it normally comes. Do not order through Amazon if you are getting this product.

  7. Irene Ringworm

Premium quality facial cleanser – product description implies that it will remove makeup as well, but I found that I needed a separate product to remove eye makeup. It might be meant to remove makeup residue after you properly remove the rest of your makeup. Exceptional hydration, and a little bit goes a long way.

But as with any premium product there’s a law of diminishing returns as the price increase. This product is meant to be used as part of a regimen that might cost $400-$500 for a few months’ supply. I’m not convinced it works any better than the $80 Clinique regimen that I currently use. As with any skin care routine it all comes down to personal experience: if it works for your skin and your budget this is an excellent option. For me it’s a wonderful product, but not enough better to incentivize me to switch brands.

While this is an expensive product, a little bit does go a long way: you really only need to use a very small amount because it lathers up quite a bit. The smell is pretty nice – somewhat floral, but not too strong. Be careful not to get it in your eyes because it does burn. One thing I did find disappointing is the design of the tube – a flip-top lid would be a lot more convenient than screwing it off and back on every usage.

Overall, I feel like it does work pretty well, though one would certainly hope so for the price. I feel there are other much cheaper brands that work just as well, or at least close enough.
