I had a curling iron for the better part of a decade, if not longer. I was convinced there wasn’t anything wrong with it so I didn’t need to replace it. Well, I was wrong. I saw this one on sale during PrimeDay and thought it was probably time to replace my old one. I wasn’t expecting much of a difference but was SHOCKED when I used it for the first time. It heats so evenly and my curls come out soft and shiny. Do yourself a favor and upgrade!

This iron heats very quickly and has a very smooth coating. It doesn’t pull the hair like other inexpensive irons I’ve tried. However, the coating is either too slick, or the clamp is not tight enough, because I cannot get my hair to stay clamped around the iron. It slips out every time. I do have fine hair, so I know that can also be the issue. If you have thick or more coarse hair, I think you would be very happy with this!

Perfect for my hair. Size works but probably need bigger barrel for my long hair, works well with different heat settings. Easy to use & for the price, you can’t beat it

I saw the reviews not recommended for fine hair. However, I never thought of my hair as fine. It’s straight and color treated with bleach. But the ceramic coating iron was not best suited for my type of hair. My titanium one went out so I thought I’d try something new. This had great reviews. Unfortunately I’ll be returning and purchased the updated version of my titanium plated iron. I also wasn’t a fan of the design of this iron. As someone with carpal tunnel, this iron doesn’t have a thumb grip or a wide handle. My hair would slide down the barrel and not hear the end unless I lead each strand in place.

I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but it works really well. WAY better than my hot tools curling iron. I did notice my hair slips a bit but it’s not hard to work around that
