i love the packaging and they clearly spent money on the bottle as the label is a gold metal stamped label. The ingredients are far too simplistic to justify an outrageous price i mean sunflower oil, watermelon seed oil, these are natural yes but not clinically proven to be the best for moisture, hydration wrinkles etc. It came bubble wrapped and then in a box but the box wasn’t plastic wrapped and the bottle inside wasn’t sealed. There is no expiration on the bottle and to add to that when i arrived it was boiling hot in the packaging and it s proven that heat degrades and deteriorates the “potent” or active ingredients. Aside from that i am not sure whether to apply this first or as a last step before my moisturizer which i did that and then as i applied this dried oil which actually has a lovely fragrance of rose to it then all my other products or serums started sloughing off into little balls of dead skin all over my face.

This is more of a facial oil than a serum, based on the ingredients, which isn’t ideal for my skin. I like the scent, but the product is meant for people with dry skin that needs deep hydration.

My face looks and feels great. First this serum smells so nice, I wish it lasted longer. My face is soft to the touch once it’s absorbed and I end up with a nice glow. My face also feels a little tighter.
Quality product that I highly recommend.
My only complaint is it takes a little long to absorb or maybe I just put too much because I like it so much.

I love using this oil at night! My face always looks and feels amazing in the morning

I wouldn’t call this a serum. It’s much more like a mid-weight facial oil. Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of facial oils. The only one I use with any regularity is a lightweight “dry” oil by Elemis. While not super greasy, this stuff still leaves my skin feeling coated and looking shiny. And the fragrance is off the charts. I’m someone who thinks nicely fragranced skincare feels luxurious, but this is way too much, even for me.

This is a great serum, does a good job of moisturizing my skin. The ingredients list is clearly posted on this Amazon page and looking at it I didn’t see anything that was a cause of concern for me. This is pretty much a bottle of oils so expect this to be a little more oily on the skin than your typical cream moisturizers. That said, I didn’t find it to be too greasy or uncomfortable after applying because it absorbed pretty quickly by my skin. It does have an herbal floral smell to it, reminds me of a cup of chamomile tea or something I drink at night before bed. I don’t particularly enjoy the scent but it seems to be a mix of all the oils and not an added fragrance so I don’t mind it as much. The scent lingers a bit but it isn’t overwhelming, so like I said, it is very tolerable. A little goes a long way with these oils so don’t be too generous when dispensing it onto your hands. You can always add more if it isn’t enough.

This comes in a dropper style bottle which makes it very easy for you to control the amount dispensed. The bottle itself is glass and looks great on my bathroom vanity. This one would be great for when the weather is starting to transition from summer to fall where it may be really hot during mid afternoon but come sunset the temperatures drop. I can’t speak on what it does for my skin long term but from my short term observation it is a great moisturizing oil for the face. If you can splurge, give this a try!

I’m always looking for new beauty products to help with anti-aging and cleansing of my skin. I’m super picky about what I’m willing to put on my face, because of all the chemicals and ingredients that might not be healthy. I was thrilled to read the ingredient list in this Saint Jane Detox Serum because they’re absolutely fantastic and natural. Not one single bad ingredient in the entire list. So happy! It doesn’t get much better than this.
But let’s get right down to how it performs…
The serum feels like the consistency of an oil, but it wasn’t too thick so as not to absorb and not too thin so as to be watery – it was perfect. I put 2-3 drops on my hand and rubbed it onto my entire face. It absorbed quickly without leaving any sort of sticky/tacky/oily/greasy residue. This is rare. I’ve used a LOT of facial products and a good amount of them make my skin sticky. This one didn’t at all and I was impressed. Even though it’s an oil, it also didn’t grease up my skin. I used the product at night right before bed, and the next morning I woke up with hydrated and smoother soft skin. I will probably avoid using it on my chin in the future, because that spot is prone to breakouts for me personally.
I would also like to mention that I have very sensitive skin and I feel like this serum is extremely gentle.
The scent of the serum reminds me of nature, gardens, and the feeling of being outside. It was a light, fresh scent that wasn’t not overpowering and didn’t linger.
This product is Made in the USA, has no expiration date, and comes in a glass bottle with eyedropper cap.
Although the bottle says it’s one ounce, it honestly feels bigger than that and I’m sure it will last a long time.
The bottle is very cute, would be great for gifting, and feels like an upscale, luxury brand.
Bottom line: this isn’t your average, run of the mill, drug store serum with a list of unpronounceable ingredients that leaves a sticky feeling on your skin. This is a quality product with natural ingredients that performs impressively well. I’ve tried other, more expensive products that actually haven’t performed as well as this one. For that reason, I’m giving it a solid five stars.
