I have purchased this brand before but a lighter shade. I guess if you had a good tan, it would not be too dark however, I would choose a lighter shade if I order again. Also I didn’t think it covered imperfections as well either. I have used the spray airbrush product before it covered well and looks more natural but I like the control of the tube and I think you get more product than with the spray. I like that it doesn’t transfer onto clothing and will “seal” any sunless tanner if applied after sunless tanner to keep it from rubbing off on clothes. Waterproof and States on until you shower giving any sunless tanner time to develop and set.
I would purchase again but in a lighter shade.

I love the Sally Hansen air brushed legs not just for my legs, but, all over my body! It is a lightweight cream, non sticky, no bad odors, with great coverage. It is water resistant and lasts pretty much all day. It will transfer to white clothing, and is the only draw back. I don’t wear much white so it doesn’t bother me.

I’m in my 60’s and when I’m in a hurry this has always been my go to in between self tanning. I have fair/pale skin and the color looks natural. My sister needed to wear a skirt for an event. She asked me how it looked…I told her let me do one thing…I sprayed this on her pale white legs and she loved it. She now buys it too. It doesn’t rub off my clothes because I make sure it’s dry to the touch before putting anything on. I spray and then rub with an old makeup brush and the finished look is fantastic. It’s buildable too. The only con is I have a hard time spraying the button with my non-dominant hand. To fix that…I spray it directly on the makeup brush and apply. I remember when this was $4.00 a can at Walgreens, but like everything else the prices have jumped but for me this is worth it as long as the price doesn’t go up and more.

I have tried lots of different self-tanning products and had issues with each and every one of them. This product is like “foundation for your legs”. It evens out the tone and makes my legs look natural rather than tanned a horrible orange color. Will definitely purchase this again. A MUST HAVE for the summer months.

I like this stuff because it’s quick unlike a spray tan. I have been using it for years! It’s immediate! Great color! Don’t understand why some say it’s orange??? NO it’s not! I have a very fair complexion and even the tan looked great and not orange at all. Just want a natural look and no tan???…get the fair! I leave mine on for one hour when in a hurry before I dress and it doesn’t get on clothes after that. It looks natural and soaks in and doesn’t feel or look like you are wearing makeup at all! I like how it looks right away and when it sets in, it’s even better. I usually shower before bed, put it on, wear just a robe let it set in for 30 minutes while I do my face regimen and take my allergy pill. I sleep and it REALLY sets for the next morning for my legs to look nice in my shorts or dress and doesn’t rub off at all but you can def also use it quickly and let it dry for 30 minutes or so! I do recommend waiting to get dressed for at least 30 minutes so it sets in and doesn’t rub off too bad on your clothes. You can rub your leg or wear clothes and none comes off on you at all! Comes off easily in the shower with soap. If you want something on in the pool, you really need a self tanner. I don’t recommend this for being in the water. I LOVE This stuff and have been using it for YEARS! Makes my legs look younger and I can wear shorts or a skirt without worrying about white cottage cheese legs. I have a few vericose veins and it covers those great! Don’t need a mit, your hands wash off easily with soap really quick. Sometimes I even put a dab on my face before my actual foundation makeup and it covers my age spots on my face too! I included a pic of me wearing some at my last big event/party. See how natural it looks!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this product had so many reviews that threw me off when reading them, that I thought this review might help.
First, I want to say that this is an excellent product if you understand what it is and what its purpose is. This is a body makeup, not a sunless tanner! While it can, and does give a sun kissed glow like a sunless tanner, its uses and properties are vastly different.
I got the “fairest” shade and it makes my very light skin look nicely tanned. It’s not a deep dark tan, but very close to my normal sun-tanned shade. I bought this product because, after multiple pregnancies, I have many unsightly veins on my legs that make me self conscious when my legs are visible.
So let me highlight this product:
1.) It is a water resistant makeup foundation. It is not totally soap proof so you might see minor steaks after showering, it is not at all difficult to touch up and blend the streaks out.
2.) It is buildable until you get the coverage you need, or desire. The color does deepen the more layers you put on. I don’t find it necessary to use more than two layers.
3.) Since it is not a sunless tanner, it dries quickly and does not rub off on clothing once it is dry. Many reviewers mentioned mixing it with other lotions or lotioning the areas you normally lotion before using sunless tanners (elbows, knees, around feet and ankles, palms). This is not necessary or recommended. I believe this contributes to the many reviews that complained of it rubbing off. The other lotions disturb the adhesion of the foundation.
4.)The color you achieve after putting it on is the color it will stay. It does not develop over time like a sunless tanner. This makes it very easy to get flawless even coverage. The coverage I have achieved is not complete coverage, (I don’t believe you could cover a tattoo with it), but it does vastly improve discolorations and unsightly veins. The improvement is enough that I feel comfortable when my legs are visible.
5.) While it is marketed to the legs, this can be used beautifully on any area of the body including the face.
6.) It can be easily exfoliated away when you are finished with it.
7.) No special care is necessary when using your hands to put it on. It will wash off your hands with soap and water.
8.) I have received many compliments saying my legs have never looked so good!

This product is great. Really evens out your skin tone and imperfections. It doesn’t completely cover weird veins and discolorations but it minimizes them a lot. Nice color, I am olive toned and medium works well. It is orange at first but rub in well and the orange goes away. I should have used this product years ago.

This stuff works so well. So natural looking. No staining. I am an extremely pale person, you can see all the veins in my legs, it’s gross according to me kids. A light coat of this stuff for a special event just takes the glare of my whiteness and kinda tones down the veins (not full coverage but I did not apply very thick). It does not look orange at all.
