I’ve not used a scalp massager before, so this item is a luxury for me. With a hard plastic handle that fits perfectly between my fingers and silicone spikes to stimulate the scalp, it feels like a massage – not as deep a massage as when I use my fingers, but I feel like I get more consistent coverage using this.

There seems to be some confusion on whether this is made in China or France. While I haven’t seen the manufacturing facilities, I did some research on the Leonor Greyl brand and their products do appear to be made in France. They won’t even sell their items direct to China until China changes their requirement to test on animals.

Is it worth the price? I’m not sure. It feels nice and I get a good lather from my shampoo. It works as advertised and feels sturdy. I suppose that it will be worthwhile if it lasts a couple of years or more. If this breaks, I’ll report back here with whether it was worth it! For now, I’m going to assume it is…

This product works well, but I dropped it in the shower, and a large piece of the handle broke off, which is a sign that the quality isn’t as high as expected.

  3. Tiffany

Easy to use, great for people with dry itchy scalp as well. Invigorating.

    I really like this product

If I were fabulously wealthy, I would have a massage at least once a week. Since I’m not, I will have to settle for this incredible silicone scalp massager. It looks like a medieval torture device but since it’s made of silicone, it’s soft on the scalp and feels divine when running through your hair, especially wet. Admittedly, I am a middle-age woman that discovered this product from my teenage daughter. Since she wouldn’t part with hers, I had to get my own. I will be keeping it in the shower. A little every day luxury for those of us that do not have our own personal masseus on staff.

I enjoy using this for both when I am using normal shampoo and when I need to use dry shampoo-it helps work the product in while stimulating but not damaging my scalp like it would when using my fingers(due to my nails). The only thing I do not like is that it can at time get my hair tangled in a couple of places .

This works and feels great. The tips are soft enough not to hurt, but also strong enough to massage the scalp. The handle is easy to hold on to. I’ve also been using this as a shampoo brush to get a really good lather. The reason I took off a star is because the price is so steep. It comes in a nice little package, but I’m really just not sure why it costs so much more than similar items.

One thing is for certain about this product. They definitely want you to think it’s made in Paris. It’s written on the storage container, the product description photos and even on the scalp massager itself. So, I was really surprised to see to see a “Made in China” sticker on the inside bottom of the storage container. The massager definitely looks more high end. It comes in a very chic black and white circular cardboard storage container. The massager itself is white with pretty black graphics. It has a handle on top and fits perfectly in my hand for great control. The massage tips look pointy but they are very gentle on the scalp. It did feel much nicer and more effective than my usual scalp massager. It does a wonderful job of getting a deep clean and removing any product in your hair. It also feels awesome, like you’re getting a scalp massage. I’m very pleased with this product. I just feel misled about this product being made in Paris when it’s actually made in China. I don’t see that information anywhere in the product description.
