After having a surgery on my forehead that involved 11 stitches, I was motivated to reduce the redness and swelling as soon as possible. I purchased the ScarAway Advanced Skincare Silicone Scar Sheets, Medical Grade Silicone Strips for nighttime use. They are great! You can cut them to the size you need and reuse them for 2 weeks or so per strip. My scarring is almost invisible and the redness is almost unnoticeable.

By scar very easy and the gels are nice but they seem to soak in and we’re off and you have to apply them more often. I like that that you can apply this right after you shower and leave it on until the next time you shower or while you shower and it does work.

Ordered this for my husband after facial surgery which created a 4” scar on his face. The product didn’t stick well to his in his beard line even after shaving. However, 6 weeks out now and his scar is barely noticeable. If I had to purchase again, I would get the clear ones for a facial scar. The beige looks like a giant bandaid. Won’t matter if it can’t be seen and it works great!

My dermatologist recommended this brand. I’ve used silicone patches years ago, & they were clear but quite thick. Still, those patches could be lost easily because of being clear. These patches stay on when wet, but come off easily while asleep…These patches are also quite thin; it’s no surprise that the manufacturer states that a patch can last about 10 days with cleaning it regularly: Too thin, & too easy to dislodge while asleep!

Have been using consistently and am pleasantly impressed by how well the patches work. My scars are nearly flush with my skin and can hardly feel a raise whatsoever. I had surgery twice on the same area, so these patches had their work cut out for them. I cut my strips in half and it covers the area well enough. They are a pain in the a$$ to peel and stick, but as long as you peel back the plastic wrap with intention and precision, they will remain flat. Once you lay down one side, give it a slight tug so it feels taut as you lay down the rest of the patch.
