This dye is a beautiful colour. It’s got great dimension, even when it fades after time it fades to a nice burgundy. The initial colour is rich and vibrant and works great on dark brown hair. I usually am not satisfied with my hair after home dying it but this is perfect and I now use the subscribe and save to get it delivered every 8 weeks.

I have black asian hair that i never bleached , I put this on my hair about 40 mints aproximately , I was expecting a purpleor voilet shade instead of redish brown … i guess this is okay too .. but not that great

This color is light, it lightened my natural black roots to a light enough color to blend with my lighter grown out hair that was previously highlighted and lighter ends. It got my roots close enough, and all the other hair toned, so that it blended nicely in the light. I’d use this color again. Theres a little lightener packet included that I think would really help with the roots, had I noticed it sooner.

It’s a very nice shade of red regardless, but the shade isn’t as dark as it is on the cover of the box so don’t let that fool you. But also don’t let it stop you from buying it either because you can just go over it with some black semi-permanent hair dye to make it as dark as you want like I did a few weeks after taking those pictures. Very nice red, but remember
1) permanent box dye is bad for your hair
2) permanent box dye is hard to get out (ESPECIALLY RED)

Bought Rich Caviar – was concerned about getting “Hot Roots” on my regrowth which is about 30-40 percent grey…not an issue at all. The colour is rich and accurate to what is on the box….overall very happy with it.

I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my money and time on this! I used the Light Brown to cover the Light Golden Brown that I had used previously. I applied to the gray area that had grown out first and waited before applying to the rest of my hair. I followed every step in the instructions. Not only was the color uneven but it turn my hair AUBURN not Light Brown.
Other faults of the product were:
1. Strong unpleasant scent which made it hard to breath. In fact, it is so strong that my husband
with asthma had to leave and use his inhaler. And he was in the next room.
2. I have fairly thin, shoulder length hair and yet it took every drop I could squeeze out of the bottle and comb through my hair to completely cover my hair.
3. It is very difficult to rinse out. It doesn’t lather up like most hair colors do. It actually got sticky when I added water to rinse it out. I had to add shampoo to wash it all out.
4. It takes half of the tube of conditioner for one treatment. Other brands that I’ve used that have the same size tube, lasts long enough for up to six treatments.
5. Even though I left the conditioner on for 15 minutes my hair still turned out dry with no shine.
6. It’s more expensive than the other hair color I’ve used that have performed better.
The only reason I tried this was because of all the hype I’ve heard and seen.
I’ll go back to the hair color I’ve used for 30 years. The reason I haven’t named the product I normally use is because I don’t want anyone to think that this review is meant to promote that brand and smear this one.
This is my honest opinion based on my experience.

This hair dye I find, stains your skin a little more than other dyes I have used. I put Vaseline around my face, neck, ears, shoulders etc so that if I have a little accident the stain wipes off easier, no scrubbing involved. Also, if you wash it off in the shower, be careful because it will stain in there too. It also smells very strong of perfume. Other than that my hair turned out exactly as pictured and it’s all even. Not as harsh on your hair as other dyes.

Omg gosh, my hair looks beautiful!!! The color is what the box says, it was easy to use my hair is rich looking the conditioner really took away the dry feel & made it soft & I had 1 person who came up to me and asked to touch it….weird but I said ok anyway. Lol. Who could blame her sooooo pretty. Ruby Noir just sounds beautiful, doesn’t it?
