Nice technology that allows visualization of ear wax, if any, ear canal and tympanic membrane on a screen much like that of a smart phone. Can take pictures and save them or even upload them to another device, which could prove useful in sending to a medical provider for a telehealth conference. I don’t know if most people would feel comfortable using the tools provided to scoop out wax from ear, but just being able to see what is, or is not, going on in this is well worth the price paid. Recommended.

I’ve head ears plugged up before and loss of hearing fidelity. So thought the same but after using this device found that it’s the hearing aid instead. Ear canal were clear. Needed a bit of getting used to where to place the camera wand. Like the fact that it’s all self contained and don’t have to rely on downloads and using the phone.

I guess I had expected this video otoscope to be not much better than a toy. Not so! This is a very high quality instrument for the price. Excellent picture quality, easy to use but you’d better know what you’re looking at so that you don’t go scraping thru your tympanic membrane with some of the cerumen removal tools that are included. The whole package is high quality.

Great endoscope. Been using for almost a year and still works tremendously. Great picture and battery life is great. Even if it dies, you can charge and use it.

I at first bought another type. The one you need an app and WiFi and couldn’t connect it so I bought this instead. Easy peasy. Just make sure you read the instructions. You have to connect the camera before turning machine on. ITS HARD. IT TAKES PRACTICE! But…. Once you twirl it gently around and move the scoopers in the right direction and go slow. It is interesting. Just be careful. I made my ear canal bleed because it’s like looking in a mirror and trying to braid your hair. It confuses your brain. So just take your time. I got the best view with the black doctor kinda thing they use at the doctors office. It pushes all your ear hair out of the way. So start with that and see what’s going on in your ear. Just make sure you snap it on really good. I had it pop off on the way out of my ear canal. Only 4 stars because of price. But you can take videos and pictures. Pretty cool. I had a chunk of wax sitting at my ear drum and that’s what was bothering me. No app,phone or WiFi needed.

4) per manual, should have been able to use provided Type C USB cable to connect unit to PC for image
uploading, did not work
— using provided cable with wall charger, power button flashes Red if unit off
— if unit on (usable), power button alternates Red and Blue
using supplemental purchased Type C USB Cable for charging & data transfer, able to upload
images to PC without problem
— conclusion: defective USB cable came with unit
