It’s alright, but when compared to king C gillette soft beard conditioner the king C is much better it makes my beard softer, has a better scent that I prefer and it’s great for itchy beard. Also cost less and less is needed to apply. I wanted to try the porter scotch based on reviews but it’s just okay I was hoping it would help for it by beard it doesn’t. Gonna keep using it for now I may update my review later but so far after using for 3 days not a big fan.

I have had an hard time find good beard products and my wife got this one for me to try and the results have be great.
It’s a leave in conditioner so after a wash I put it in and it leaves my beard feeling soft and moist. My beard feels full and healthy plus my wife loves the smell.

This stuff works great. Beard is softer than a millennial or a Gen Z’er. Not messy, doesn’t leave beard oily and smells great. Saw a lot of reviews that the scent is too strong. I don’t think so and either does my wife and she is sensitive to strong smells. I noticed a difference day 1 and there was a huge difference on day 2. No more dry crunchy beard.

I start with Scotch Porter beard shampoo and conditioner and follow it with this leave-in conditioner. The smell is masculine and not overpowering. I only shampoo my beard every 2-4 days but use this leave-in conditioner every day. It tames my beard and lasts throughout the day.

I like this stuff but I don’t love it. 4.5/5 stars. The smell is warm and pleasant, almost root beer like, but not quite. It is not my favorite smell, but it’s not bad. It gets old, I’ll put it that way. I prefer to add a few drops of one of my aftershaves to it, then mix it in my hands, then apply it. Moving on from the smell, it has the consistency of hand lotion but a touch runnier. Easy to spread in my beard. Not too shiny but more control and sheen than dry, wiry, unconditioned beard hair. It’s a good product. I wish they had more scents available, perhaps one more cooler and cologne-like, that’s my only complaint and it’s not a big complaint.

Not sure everyone states it’s a strong scent. It smells amazing and feels so good on my beard. Instantly softer and all the hairs aligned when I brushed it. Awesome product! 👍
