I opened this package really excited to tie up my hair in a new way, but was let down. One of the hair pieces was easily missing a third of the teeth, as seen in the photo. When I tried using one of the five remaining good ones, it kept sliding out of my hair after about 2 minutes. This made it look like a sad saggy ponytail instead of the cute photos I had seen online. Product was a big letdown, and will be returning this.

Got the 5” banana clips and they work great for my fine hair. Us fine hair girls often struggle to pull off a pony tail of any kind, but these help give some illusion of volume. Tip: if your hair is super fine/thin, add some dry shampoo or volume powder and fluff up the hair a bit before using this. Helps with grip and volume.

Not sure what happened, but these clips are not what they used to be. They are not as sturdy as the ones I’ve bought in the past, and the clip keeps popping out of itself when I go to use them. I will NOT buy these again. I prefer this size because I have thinner hair and some of the other banana clips are too bulky, now these don’t work for me either *sigh*

I have a really thick afro and they stay put so that’s a win in my book. They feel cheap but they work well for what I needed them for. Super simple clasps on both sides.

I bought these because I wanted my hair to have that effect of when you hold your hair up in a ponytail, if that makes sense. These banana clips are supposed to give you more volume than a hair tie, which is what I wanted but I found the clips were not only easily breakable (especially if you have thick hair) but also didn’t really look good with my hair. I followed countless tutorials but they all left my hair looking weird. I don’t use these on a daily basis, and truthfully I don’t think I’ll wear them outside of the house because they leave my hair looking very wack when you look from the side. I do like that they allow you to keep your middle part though.
