I switched from buying regular deodorant to this aluminum free deodorant a few years ago.
I like how smooth it is when applying and the coconut scent. I do feel like I sweat more with this deodorant, which is normal since it doesn’t have aluminum. However, even though I sweat more, I have less body odor. I have noticed if I’m sweating a lot for an extended period of time, like when I’m really stressed or exercising, it doesn’t do as well. I still feel like it’s worth it knowing that I’m not applying aluminum to my underarms every day. If you’re looking for an affordable option to cut out some toxins, I’d recommend at least trying this!

The fragrance may be a little strong for some, but this is THE ONLY and ABSOLUTE BEST aluminum-free deodorant I have EVER used and have ever REPURCHASED!

I’ve been on the search for a deodorant free of aluminum that actually works, I’ve tried lume, native and a bunch of other “natural” deodorant available. Nothing worked for me and would leave me with a horrible red rash, turns out it was the baking soda. I was using dove since it was the only product that wouldn’t irritate me but it wouldn’t keep my pits from stinking until I tried this secret deodorant, not only are my pits rash free but also stink free! I will continue to buy this deodorant since it’s everything I’m looking for and more.

I originally bought the Aluminum Free Secret Cotton. Then, I saw that WalMart kept selling out of them so I checked Amazon. I was excited to see the pricing for 3 of them so decided to buy. Realized I bought them in Coconut instead of Cotton. I have to say it’s a very happy mistake because the coconut smells much better than the cotton ones!
Also, for anyone looking for something that works just like the antiperspirant ones. This will not work for you. Your body is meant to sweat to cool itself off. This will not block that from happening but will block the stinky smell that comes with it. I’ve tried other brands that gave me rashes, dried out my skin or never prevented bad odor but this one works great. Here’s the ones I’ve tried and results. In case you need something to compare it to before making your final decision.
Tom’s Long Lasting Aluminum Free = Scents wore off very quickly and within an hour I was stinking. I was just sitting at my work desk when this happened. It felt very cakey as well!
Dr. Teal’s Aluminum Free = Same issue. Scent wore off within an hour or two, started to stink and had a cakey feel in my underarm. Also, was very hard to wash off in the shower.
Schmidt’s Aluminum Free for Women & Men = Another nope from me. Cakey and scent went away within a couple of hours.
Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant = Felt like it was never going to dry (only used two swipes per pit) and very irritating to the skin.
Primal Pit Paste Deodorant 100% Natural = BO started happening right away and it was very cakey. Very hard to wash off in shower.
Kiss My Face Liquid Rock roll-on = Dried out my skin, irritated it and didn’t cover BO.
Crystal Aluminum Free Mineral Deodorant Stick = Left a weird smell and took to long to dry. Had to reapply it multiple times a day which eventually dried out my skin.
Crystal Essence Mineral Deodorant Spray = Thought I would try it in liquid form. Still took too long to dry and didn’t get BO but caused a weird scent (per husband) that was hard to describe.
Arm & Hammer Essentials Deodorant with Natural Deodorizers = Would not recommend this to my worst enemy! Dried the crap out of my underarms, caused rashes and what felt like burns and did not cover the BO after about 4-5 hours of sitting at my work desk.
* There are a few more that I can’t think of off the top of my head right now. It’s 4 PM so the caffeine is wearing off but I hope the ones I listed so far help you get an idea or all the testing I’ve done on myself looking for one that actually works! Good Luck! *

I love all the Secret scents but this one is very yummmmm!!!!!! It works fine, no white mess, and safe. Throw away the ones with Aluminum. I gave my sister a set, she had breast/lymph node stage 4 cancer so we can’t risk any aluminum products, she loves this one too.

I ordered these deodorants for myself and my two teenaged daughters. I wanted the aluminum free but was worried they wouldn’t be as effective. Not true! They kept us fresh the entire day and we all love the vanilla scent. Would definitely buy again!

If you work outside a lot, this deodorant doesn’t last long, maybe 6-8 hrs, use clinical strength Secret, it last 12-18 hours

I live in Arizona and I need something that really works and also has to be aluminum free. This one I end up sweating after about an hour which I don’t like and the smell is a little strong I probably won’t buy again. the only one that seems to work with me so far is lady’s speed stick zero, rose petals scent. But I need to step it up. I think I am going to try one of the new brands that are just coming out.
