A relative asked me to find Secure dental adhesive after all the other brands failed in holding in their dentures. They had heard it was a great product. Well they reported back to me that Secure did in fact hold their dentures securely in place. They were so relieved and grateful.

These strips work well – better than another product I tried (which is a spread on paste – messy and strong chemical taste). Following the instructions it made wear the lower denture more comfortable and is also helpful in excluding crumbs etc. Depending on use one strip is basically used per day – possibly 2 days – but then in combination with some creme fixative. There are 15 in a box, so I would recommend 2 boxes per month – the cost then adds up – but worth it if it helps.

My Personal Review, the Strips do Work Great, and the Best Holding Power I’ve ever used compared to other Products,, However the Strips are making my Gums very Sore in a couple places, and taking Weeks to Heal..
I prefer the Secure Cream in the Tube Verses the Strips..
So it’s Trial and error if you have Sensitive Gums like I do..
My Next order will be Secure Cream for Sensitive Gums..!

Having read a number of positive and negative feedback on this product for the lower denture, I was curious about usage. Ordered this product on 9 /5, and received on 9/7. I wanted to use right away, so I took one of the cushions and matched my lower denture against it. You will have to cut to fit, and follow the instructions to fit inside the denture.
Before I began the process I actually read the box, and it says that these cushions DO NOT WORK ON SOFT RELINES. Of course, I just had a soft reline done 1 week ago, and my upper and lowers are not staying tight, even after using my powder and tube adhesives. So before I go back to the dentist, I wanted to try this product anyway. I have to wait until June 2023 to purchase new dentures so something needs to work.
After cutting and fitting the cushion, remembering to get any bubbles out, I placed the denture back in and bit down to secure. The fit was not right, so I removed, cut some more off, and put the cushion in place.
The fit was perfect, so the test began on whether the cushion will hold. It held for 4-6 hours, even after having a salad for lunch, and pizza for dinner. However, it was not a super hold, and were easily removed at bedtime. The next day I used from 8 am until 6 pm, having had a snack and dinner, but before dinner was over the denture came loose and I had to re-adhere with tube adhesive. It was sort of an all-day hold, but not really, as the possibility of the denture loosening depended on how much usage of the lower jaw was taking place, as I was doing little talking most of this day.
I was hoping to try on my upper denture but will not, so a dentist appt is happening soon. I ‘ll use them until gone, but will not order again. If you have a soft reline, don’t waste your money on this item.
UPDATE FOR 9.10.22:
I took a suggestion from a review to add another adhesive on the top and bottom of the cushion to see if the hold would work, as I used little dots of my tube adhesive to certain sections of the denture, and it did! Hold was super tight from 8 am to 11 pm, even after having crunchy snacks, constant drinking, and two meals. I’m happy with the result, although it can be costly to order these with 15 per package, unless using the subscribe and save process.

I just purchased a box of these to replace Cushion Grip, which is no longer on the market. I have a severe problem with a painful lower denture, and also with keeping it in place. I use a soft reliner which works real well, but it’s still not enough to give me total comfort. I always had to add a little Cushion Grip on top.
And the denture adhesives don’t work for me because none of them that I’ve used (which is about all of them) work with soft liners. They keep your denture in place for about 30 minutes and then it’s all melted away. So I seen this Secure stuff and decided to try it, really not believing it would work because it says right on the box it is not for those who have soft liners. I’m desperate since they took Cushion Grip off the market to find something, so decided I’d better give everything I haven’t already used a try.
I am amazed. I put this strip in my bottom denture about 4 hours ago. I’ve eaten peanuts without undue pain and without getting peanut bits under my plate. I drank water and have been working on a project so kind of forgot about this deal. It dawned on me when I finished my project that my dentures are still solid in my mouth.
These are way expensive, depending on how long a strip will last, but I am so totally overjoyed at this point. I can’t imagine these not working for anyone.
I’m amazed that there are quite a few negative reviews. I can only wonder if they are actually following the directions.

Update!
It has now been a month since I used this product! I was just now able to put my dentures back in my mouth today!! I even went to the dentist to see what the problem was and the only thing he could see was that I had an allergic reaction to something in the adhesive pads, no issue with my teeth, just sores in my gums. Please be careful when purchasing this product.
I got these on a recommendation from a friend and thought I would give it a try….never again.
They made my lowers fit so tight that it was horribly uncomfortable and I had to take them out after 2 hours. I still am unable to wear my lowers because of the damage done to my gums and few teeth that I have. It was been a week and it is still extremely painful!! Not sure if I had a bad reaction to them but my gums feel like they have been burned!!! Stick with what you know people. Did not even want to give it 1 star.

Because you can’t read the instructions on the box from any of the pictures, there was something I didn’t know before I ordered these. I still have my temporary dentures so they have a soft lining. You can not use these with a soft lining. So now, I have to wait til my permanent dentures are in place to try them. So this isn’t a review of the quality of the product, it is more of a heads up that you can’t use these with a soft relining in place.

I was very dissatisfied with this product. The accompanying picture indicated this was a pack of 5 but in actual fact it was only one very misleading but as the saying goes every day is a school day and I’ve learned a valuable lesson with this

These are just perfect for me, best thing ever for my dentures, only problem i have is delivery time! Some u get, some u don’t! Still awaiting another delivery, it at least 3-4 weeks late! I’ll give a few days more, if not received can have a refund back, hopefully 🥴
