I bought this for my husband because I’ve been a fan of any Shea Moisture products I’ve ever tried. I asked him how he liked it to write the review and thought “Why not try it on my own face?” And I’m glad I did because this stuff is AMAZING!
*From the guy’s perspective:
–Nice texture gel without being overly scented or heavy. A little goes a decent way. (Definitely shake it up before use and it helps it foam better in your hands.)
–Gets the beard follicles feeling clean and the hair/skin feeling conditioned and soft, which is helpful because not all men use face moisturizers or beard products.
*From the ladies perspective: I really wasn’t expecting to use this at all on myself but now I often go to it instead of my own face wash!
–I absolutely love the light scent and oil content; which if you have drying/aging skin, softens it really nicely without being heavy.
–Any excess is also great for the neck/decolletage, upper arms and legs.
–Gets skin very clean and I can say my pores look better than they did with my specialized face washes.
We’ll be buying this again! But even with two people using it (me pretty much daily) we still have a lot left. One of the things I’ve always loved about Shea Moisture is the generous amount they give you.

This smells so good! I like this a lot and plan to use this at night before bed with a small comb. It does a great job cleaning and making my beard soft and looking great. I had to order their balm right after using this and do away with another one i bought and was more expensive.

I’m obsessed with this – I keep my beard, because I enjoy the scent of the beard wash so much! It has a really great, thick lather, and it leaves my beard soft and fluffy, but not frizzy. Can be used daily.

It really delivers on the conditioning aspect.
I have been trying beard washes for years and this one is by far one of the best ones I’ve used!
I even enjoy using this product as a shower gel sometimes.
A little bit goes a long way! It leaves your beard and skin feeling soft and of course smelling great!
The only con is that It seems that the formula has changed to a thinner, more watery consistency! I used to like how thick the consistency of the product was when I first started using it.
I also dislike the packaging because a bit of water gets retained in the cap of the container.
I’d still highly recommend this beard wash!

Fantastic beard wash. I’ve used Gillette’s, Jack Black’s, and some others, but this is by far my favourite. It smells so wonderful that I actually used to wander into the shower just to smell the bottle.
I have a long-ish beard, around 4 inches, and I’ve had zero problems with my beard since I started using it a couple of months ago.

This product leaves my beard feeling nice and smooth. The amount of shampoo you need to get a good lather is small. It keeps my beard nice and moisturized while smelling good.

Smells really bad
