My hairdresser first used this after a highlighting session and the next day my hair felt so silky and healthy that I was shocked, because typically after a highlight my hair does not feel great (it feels rough/textured/damaged). This was the only new product she used, so I attributed my healthy hair to this spray. I then bought my own bottle and have not been disappointed. It is pricey, but it is on par with other brands I have tried such as Ouai and Dae (another all natural product). Don’t waste your money on the Dae, the pump is horrible & the product clumps when you spray it. I threw out the bottle before it was even gone, I got so sick of the way it sprayed. The Ouai is great & make my hair feel protected, however, this Shibui product is my new go-to for the added shine benefit and for the fact that it is ‘color conscious’ so I expect that it is better for my highlighted hair. I am here buying my second bottle. BTW: the pump works well and sprays evenly without clumping. TRY IT OUT!
