The mousse has a wet, foamy texture when you pump it out of the bottle. It has a fresh floral scent like Versace Bright Crystal. I tried using this product in two different ways; to air dry with my naturally wavy hair and with a blowout. Sometimes volumizing mousses work well on my curly hair to define the curls but with this one, it had a very crunchy, grippy texture that I didn’t care for. However, when I used it as it was intended, which was prior to blow drying my hair, I thought it was great. I used 4 pumps on my mid-back length hair. It gave me enough lift at the root, and it helped to tame some of the frizz that I get around the crown of my head. I didn’t have any odd texture, dryness, straw-like feeling, or knots. It was smooth, shiny, and not greasy.
I use a blow dry brush, and as I go down a section, I will twist it away from my face to get a little bit of a wave toward the end that looks like I used a large barrel curling iron. This mousse definitely helped to hold that wave better than when I don’t use anything at all.
The next day I used dry shampoo on the roots and touched up my hair with my blow dry brush and it looked great. I didn’t have any issues with day 2 hair.

I have very long, fine, thick, and slightly wavy hair. This works great for me! Very lightweight, but actually does something. I also don’t have to use a lot of it (compared to others at least). Leaves my hair soft and not crunchy too.

Mousse felt super lightweight on the hair. Used as directed and my normally flat hair had volume I never could have expected it could ever have. It does have a slight floral scent to it. It didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or crispy at all. Instead, it felt soft and looked really shiny and healthy.
