We try to order shampoo by the gallon and use dispensers in our shower. We also try to stay away from the chemical-heavy, fragrance shampoos you can buy in the store. This was one of the few that scored low on the EWG hazard scale. It smells like peppermint and tea tree, and that smell fades as your hair dries. If you want a strong smelling head days after washing, this is not your shampoo. It lathers decently, but it takes quite a bit for me to get a good lather. My husband likes it b/c it controls his dandruff.

Nice scent and a cooling menthol sensation. It does a good job of cleansing my hair without making it dry. The ingredients are not 100% natural, there are several ingredients that are made by chemically modifying coconut byproducts, but it is rare to find a shampoo that is 100% natural, especially one that works, and that is affordable

Using this shampoo as an alternative to Paul Mitchell’s Tea Tree Shampoo. Works great for those who have dandruff and wants an “all natural” shampoo at a competitive price. Smells and lather’s up nicely as well.

I have very long and thick hair and try to use natural products. Which is tough because I go through shampoo bars and things so fast and they typically never work well. Not only that I tend to have an oily/itchy scalp so I often do deep oil treatments in my hair and I struggle to find shampoos that can wash everything out.
This shampoo is perfect! It helps my scalp and also cleans my hair. The only thing is that it might be a bit drying so if you’re not doing an oil treatment first then I would recommend combining with a great conditioner (I love the gallon hemp one on Amazon).

If you’ve been thinking of trying a tea tree product, this is the one. I’m in love!
My husband and I have been using this shampoo for years and just can’t get enough, so this bulk option is amazing.
We even use this as a body wash because it has such a nice, clean, tingly feel as well as the antibacterial & anti fungal properties of pure tea tree products without over drying.
We’ve been buying small bottles at our local co-op grocery store for $8.99 each for years and now I’m kicking myself because we could have filled tons of bottles with just this one, great priced bulk jug.
For reference, here’s what my typically fine, limp, stick straight hair looks like now. I couldn’t be happier. There’s no residue or build up and my hair is healthy, strong, and smells clean and fresh to the point that I get compliments regularly. Enjoy!
