This ‘Skinfix’ KP+ Psoriasis Smoothing Treatment Body Lotion I was intrigued by, because I have some issues that I thought this may help.
First off, this product is presented very nicely, in a pump-push dispenser bottle; which makes it easy to use and easy to get the proper amount one would need for an application. I like how the bottle looks, and it’s a decent size, in my opinion…
The lotion itself is quite nice, it absorbs fairly quickly into my skin, and it doesn’t feel greasy nor sticky. The lotion consistency is of what I would deem a typical type-meaning it’s not super thick like a body butter, but not too thin or watery either. I felt like it moisturized by skin, and the areas I’ve been using it seem to be moisturized and benefitting from using this.
The only thing I really noticed about this was the scent; it does have a slightly different scent that I can’t quite describe. Almost like a mix between a citrus and herbal scent. I don’t mind it, but I’m not sure if everyone would like it. It’s not unpleasant, just different.
I think this is a nice product, and I do think that it has helped in areas of my skin that have some issues. I feel like the cream has helped in a positive way such as; moisturizing, helping with itchiness and drying, smoothing out the texture of my skin, as well as lasting for several hours per application. This is a bit more pricy than most lotions I have used (currently at $50 at the time of this review); however, because of the quality and longevity of this lotion-I do think it’s worth it.❤️ I’m very pleased with it, and would love to try some of the other products by this brand if given the chance. 😊

This lotion is great for anyone with issues. It is super gentle and immediately improves the look while protecting from further irritation. It is fragrance free and super hydrating and gentle. Good product…

Been using for a while now but not really seeing an improvement. Not sure how long it takes but with other products I’ve used, Ive seen quicker results. Going to keep using to see if anything changes.

I have KP on my upper arms and have tried a few different soaps, scrubs, and lotions over the years with varying results. I figured I’d give this Skinfix a try because it had some different ingredients than things I’ve tried in the past. Usually when I shower I exfoliate my upper arms then put lotion on as soon as I’m out of the shower. I do this about every-other-day, and this is how I’ve been using the Skinfix.
I personally haven’t needed any time for my skin to adjust to it, and it doesn’t burn or irritate my skin at all, even when I put it on so soon after exfoliating. Maybe I’m just lucky or don’t have very sensitive skin. It feels pretty moisturizing, though it seems to take a lot of product to cover and moisturize my whole upper arm, at least compared to other lotions I’ve tried. I’m only using it every-other-day and I’ve definitely seen a slight reduction in my KP, so if I used it every day or 2x per day as recommended I’d think it’d be even more effective.
When I ordered this I didn’t realize that the ingredients will make your skin extra sensitive to sun. The directions advise you to wear sunscreen for a week after using it, so pay attention to that! It’s a slight inconvenience but I usually wear sunscreen anyways, just make sure you read the directions.
My only complaint is that I really don’t like the smell. It smells very medicated (which I guess makes sense), and I guess I’m just used to unscented or lightly scented lotions. I only smell it during application, however, and I haven’t noticed any lingering smell long after it’s sunk into my skin, so it’s not a big deal.

I over wash my hands, which leads to them being dry and cracking. It is not uncommon for me to have scabs within the cracks, which causes more cracking.
This effectively hydrated my hands while removing dead skin and stopped the cycle of cracking. It absorbs well and is easy to use- I like the airless pump. It smells like the ingredients, they are great ingredients but some sink. I am careful not to get this into fresh wounds on my hands as it does sting, but again, that is something I’m willing to accept in exchange for effective ingredients.
I am very happy with this product.

After using this product a handful of times I have a few first impressions. First of all, this is a fairly strong product. It does mention somewhere that it’s a targeted treatment as opposed to all over. There are a number of stronger exfoliants in this lotion. If your skin is sensitive, I’d start out slow with this and work your way up to using it more. Also, do not use out of the shower directly after shaving. I made that mistake and boy did it burn. After that my legs were really itchy for a few days. I recommend using this on dry skin or at least not directly after shaving.
I’m not sure how long one must use this product before seeing results. The answer is apparently not a week. I’m hopeful that I’ll see some improvement in my skin now that I’ve realized how not to use it.
Because of the quality and type of exfoliants included in this product, I would recommend at least trying it. I will update later if there is, or isn’t, improvement. It’s pretty much summer where I am now so I’d like to see clearer leg skin soon!

This moisturizer definitely works! Within hours, my skin can go from being dry, cracked, and irritated, to soft and moisturized. I rated this four out of five stars, because I think there are several other products that work as well as this at half the price.
