Purchased for my husband for grooming purposes. He shaves his head and was struggling with just the basic clippers due to hand and wrist issues. This item allows him to use it comfortably and get the grooming needs done. Comes pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. Once charged he can use it for a few days before needing to recharge. It’s well made but not to heavy which is great for him. Perfect size for his hands too. Excellent item for the price.

I had a set of cheap clippers but it took forever to cut and I never cut it even. After that failure I would look like a bum every two weeks hitting up my barber ( from when I had hair ) and the are no discounts for less hair my friends. . .not around here.
Can’t attest to the life of the battery but it did recharge quick and never missed a beat on the shave. If I use it for 2 months it pays for itself based on what I paid my barber and I can keep it tight wherever I go. I shaved dry and used moisturizer after. A little irritating but not painful. Next I will try the wet shave. Not ” safety razor ” clean but close enough that no one will notice. Pics speak for themselves . . .I did go back and get that lower neck. That was user error.
This thing cleans up easy and the new R3 blade works great for my face and head. Best money I have spent this year, basically. Great deal so far.

March 2021. Purchased Aug 2019.
Little guy finally gave out. Motor would turn on by itself so I had to leave it in my shop so the wife wouldn’t throw it at me. Stored inside a moving blanket inside an ice chest so I wouldn’t forget and scare the crap out of my kid ( or myself ). Plugged it in to clean up and she is toast. . . . .but let me be clear. I babies this thing for the first few months then I just left it in the shower. Wife and kid would knock it over. Broke a blade to pieces once it hit so hard. Threw it in bags when traveling. Chunked it in counter drawers when people would come stay and she kept on ticking. Got more than that 2 months out of it. Ordering another right now!

I had a 5-head shaver, and I hated it. The heads were spread too widely to properly contact the curved areas of my head, leaving the center blade to do all the work and since it’s the smallest it was always clogged by cut hair. This 3-head shaver hugs my scalp and does a much better job of cutting, plus it’s much easier to clean than the 5-head models that open like a flower and don’t let you really clean them well. I love this shaver and will buy another when this wears out!

Esse produto é fenomenal! Não existe nada parecido com ele no Brasil. Comprei o Palm da Skull Shaver pois fiz uma cirurgia recentemente e fiquei com uma cicatriz na cabeça. Não me sentia seguro em utilizar lâminas convencionais ou outro tipo de barbeador. Com o Palm posso manter a cabeça raspada com praticidade e segurança.

So after having this and using it for a while I would not recommend this product. It just does not do that good of a job at shaving a head. Mind you I am genetically bald, so its not like I have a ton of hair for this thing to deal with.
I would had returned it, however returning something like this used just did not seem right. Would not recommend it…

I’ve been using hair clippers to shave my head for years.. Ya thats right, those big huge things that barbers use to cut hair, I just don’t use any comb attachments. Needless to say, hair clippers don’t give the best close shave.
I used the Skull Shaver this morning for the first time. I had “shaved” my head a few days ago with the clippers so it was not that long. The shaver did a very average job at removing the hair. It required going over the same section of my head many many times at various angles. I did clean it after doing half of my head and then did the same to the other side.
While I can say it cuts closer than my old hair clippers, it took WAY longer. Someone posted a picture that showed their head basically baby skin smooth. I spent about 15 minutes shaving and got no where close to those results. Yes it does do a pretty close shave, but you can 100% feel the hair on your head. When drying off after a shower the towel still gets stuck on the back of my head as its catching the hair.
For the price, I think its an okay shaver. It feels like if you accidently drop this that it would just shatter into a million pieces. So its durability is kind of on the fence. Will have to see how the battery holds out, if it does alright I’ll end up keeping it. If it has issues then I’ll be returning the product.

The shaver definitely works and it’s pretty easy to use, too. I can probably shave my head in 5-10 minutes without any problems. For that I can give this product 5 stars. Easily.
But cleaning it afterwards is a nightmare. What they show you in their ad about cleaning where it’s supposed to be as easy as just dipping the razors portion of the shaver into the water and then just turning the motors on to self-clean couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m literally spending more time on cleaning the thing than I do on actual shaving. And I still can’t clean it good enough. So it’s obvious that you basically need to repurchase the razors every 1-2 months if you want your shaver to be efficient. Now, when you look at the price of their replacement razors, this things gets pretty expensive really quick. For that and for the cleaning nightmare that it is I can’t give this shaver more than 3 stars.
P. S. Dealing with the company/seller is also not a positive experience. By chance, my first purchase of this shaver ended up being a used product, which I naturally wanted to return and get the actual brand new unit I ordered. I contacted the company/seller about it and they couldn’t have been more disinterested to help me with my issue. Thankfully Amazon stepped in and immediately solved the problem. Just another thing to be aware of.
