I was surprised at how close the shave was. I couldn’t get this close of a cut with my clippers (I did get close when I adjusted the guard) but my head be sore as hell afterwards. Cleanup was super easy….. very satisfied.

I’ve been using the silver skull shaver for a few months, and I love it. Right off the bat, I would suggest buying the gold version. It wasn’t available when I bought mine, so I went with the silver. It works great. I would recommend this to anyone. Why the gold over the silver? Why not the platinum? The platinum is good for some one who travels alot, I guess. Let me back up a bit. The battery life of the Silver, is 30 minutes. There is no digital display letting you know how much of the battery is left, so you end up (atleast I do) charging it after every use. The last thing you want, is to be shaving, and the battery dies half way through. I shave every 3 or 4 days, and the shaver is on for about 10 minutes or so. Obviously it’s on longer if I go 5 or 6 days instead. If you go on vacation, you will end up bringing the cord with you. The Gold, and Platinum, both have a 90 minute battery. You can use it for a week, without worrying about charging the battery, and there is a digital display, letting you know how much battery is left. The platinum also has a travel lock. When engaged, it keeps the shaver from turning on in your luggage. I don’t know how that could happen, but it must happen enough to have made them add this feature to the 200 dollar shaver. The silver is 100 dollars, while the gold is only 10 dollars more at 110. I don’t know if motor strength increases with the different shavers, but I have run in to 1 issue. While shaving my skull, the blades will stop from time to time. It didn’t start until I had the device for about 5 months. I try not to put much pressure on it, but sometimes you have to use pressure to get the closest shave possible. It doesn’t stop evey time I use it, only once in a while, but I felt it was worth mentioning. Also, the shaver can be used wet or dry, with or without shaving gel or cream. I use nothing. I do, however, put lotion on my dome after I shave it. You can get it on Amazon. It’s called Bee Bald Heal Post-shave Healing Balm. It’s very soothing. I’m sure just regular old hand lotion would do the job as well, but the Bee balm helps to prevent bumps and redness. It’s great if you are going to shave, then go out. You don’t want any redness, or bumps. Especially in the back of your head where there can be some folds. Cleaning the device is extremely easy. I should also mention that the design makes it very easy to hold. I haven’t seen anything else out there, like it. I couldn’t be talked into buying a different type of shaver. Pitbull has come a long way, and these skullshavers are amazing.

Prima di questo ho provato altri rasoi simili a prezzi nettamente inferiori che infatti non si sono mostrati durevoli nel tempo.
Con qualche euro in più si fa proprio un salto di qualità, batteria impressionante, facile la sua pulizia il che si traduce in una maggiore durabilità del prodotto.
Oltre ad avere una ergonomia che permette di raggiungere con facilità qaulsiasi porzione della testa, si riescono a effettuare sessioni moderate senza un suo surriscaldamento.

This is hands down the best head shaver I have tried. It feels extremely ergonomic in the hand and was very easy to use. This shaver also shaves very safely and I experienced no nicks or cuts, or any kind of discomfort.
Cleanup is very easy. The quality of the materials is also very high. Charging is excellent.
Comparison to other similar products: I have tried 2 other name brand head shavers. Those other products were much lower in quality and I experienced some nicks and irritation using those other products.
Overall, this product was the most comfortable to use and a most ergonomic. Great product and I am impressed with the quality!
Update July 26, 2024:
I’ve been able to test drive this unit for a bit now. It’s even better than I thought! At first I thought I’d never be able to get close to an actual shave with razors. However, once I learned to use the unit a bit more, I’ve been able to get a very close clean shave on my head. I just needed to learn some added techniques to do it.
This is a game changer! I may not need to ever go back to shaving my head with actual razors. And as I got used to the techniques for this electric shaver, it’s just been so much easier.
Folks, this the game changer! Very comfortable with no nicks whatsoever. And shaving my head with razors and shaving cream before just took so much time and effort. I don’t think I’m ever going back to that.
Do yourself a favor and try this thing out. And don’t bother about the name brands out there as they don’t come anywhere close to this product.

Have been skeptical of electric shavers for a long time but finally decided to give a head shaver a go. Decided on this one and glad I did. It works really well. Get you a good shaving gel and work it in circular motions and you will get the shave you want. Super easy, faster than razor shaving IMO. Shaver is easy to maintain, clean, and replace heads. So far very happy with it.
