I loved so many things about these flossers.
I loved they came in a cute animal design. The giraffe image and the bold color make this fun to use. The Giraffe is a textured image that’s part of the plastic portion of the flosser.
These flossers came in a variety of vibrant colors and I can see how those qualities could make kids enjoy using them.
The flossers are of good quality, the string didn’t break while using, and the floss fit between my teeth without sticking, and was still gentle on my gums.
I thought these were great and I think any family would love them.

There are MANY dental flossers out there in the market but I am not aware if they are made of sustainable yet compostable materials. Usually they are made of plastic that I am sure just fill up the landfills. The are described as made of compostable straw wheat that makes them eco-friendly.
But the best part is the kids love using them. The animal designs are attractive and small hands find it easy to handle and hold. Flossing for kids is a hard task that requires a lot of dexterity. I had to assist my young daughter at first until she gets the hang of it. I tried it on myself as well to see if it glides well and fits through my tight teeth, and they work really well. I don’s see as much shredding as well.
The price point is fair and affordable. I recommend this product.

I got these straw wheat floss picks for my 3 and 5 year olds to use.
-These flossers work well for my kids. The flossers have a single thread (I have used others with a double thread). I personally think the double threaded flossers are stronger and work slightly better, but the single threads may be more comfortable for small children to use).
-These flossers come in 2 packages of 50 (100 total).
-They come in a wide variety of colors, and the shapes are all giraffes.
-Mint flavor is not over-bearing, and it is pleasant.
-No Flouride.
-USDA Organic.
-BPA Free and advertised as Eco-friendly.
-I got a little piece of paper in mine saying purchasing these flossers planted a tree.

Yea, sorry folks, this one is definitely for the kids, heh. The spacing on the flossers are pretty small, but since this is clearly marketed towards kids, not going to hold it against the manufacturer. My kids say that these get the job done just as good as any other flossers they get. The mint is not overwhelming, but still noticeable. The designs are cute and the color options are certainly unique. Easy to hold, easy to use, the floss slides smoothly through their teeth, and I feel a little less guilty that these are single use since they are eco friendly.
My only complaint is the cost. As neat as it is that these are eco friendly and they advertise the fact that a tree was planted for purchasing it. It’s pretty expensive. Store brand flossers are a third of the cost even with getting two 50 packs in this one order. So if you can get this on at least a 50% sale, it could be worth spending a little more in that instance to be more conservation minded. AA battery for scale.

These are great, cute flossers that address my biggest concern about those plastic ones. The waste. They are supposedly biodegradeable and made from plants. If that’s true, I’ll have less reservation about having my kids use the picks.
They work well enough. I mean it’s a string to pick at your teeth. Some of the other “adult” ones have a tooth pick on the other side but these don’t. Instead they’re a cute little giraffe.
Pretty good product and worth it for the lesser environmental impact.

I got these for my kids to share, hoping the cute giraffes would help encourage flossing more often – and my kids love them!
Not only does the giraffe shape make it more fun for my kids, they’re also mint flavored and easier to hold for smaller hands. The strings aren’t super tight, which makes them easier on their gums. As a mom, I love that the’re also biodegradable and overall eco friendly. You and your kids will not be disappointed with these flossers. 🙂

When I saw these were “biodegradable” I jumped at the chance to try them. The handle is a bit thinner/flimsier than some of the name brand ones which is to be expected if these are supposed to degrade. The thinness does not effect being able to use and in fact probably help to reach those back teeth better as there is a bit of bend as needed. I cannot yet determine if these compost down and how quickly but I can tell you the floss itself is high quality. I was able to floss all my teeth including my broken tooth without any sign of shredding and no breakage. Would definitely recommend!
