I got this for my husband who’s a long distance runner. He said it works well at preventing chafing but that it smells weird and left stains on certain fabrics. There’s a warning on the product about that, but it didn’t indicate which fabrics.

I’ve been using the small tubs of Nut Butter on my feet for trail ultras for a few years with great success. I’m prone to terrible chafing under my arms, especially in the summer and after years of using Body Glide, the smell of that stuff so close to my face got overwhelming so I decided to try the Squirrel’s Nut Butter Stick. I’ll never go back!
It applies easily and doesn’t ‘melt’ as easily as the other brand sticks so a little goes a long way. We are in the South so summers are brutal and products like this are prone to getting soft or even turning to liquid. This does none of the above and I have no chafing to report since I started using it.
The scent is mild and not offensive. It has a clean, natural smell which is very subtle and unlike competing products, Squirrel’s doesn’t get into the back of your throat.
I recommend this product. It costs slightly more than the popular brand, but after a few weeks of use I can see that it actually delivers more bang for the buck because I’m not losing copious amounts due to a melting stick.

2/4/24: This is really what I paid $9.99 for? This tiny product. I hope it works, but I will not be purchasing again as it extremely tiny. It was my bad for not realizing it would be this tiny. A further review will be given on the performance of it. So far, it smells like cocoa butter.

The product is the pefect size to travel with or put in a pocket. Goes on easy and works like a charm. No problems with chafing while usinging this product. Great value for the cost. There is a slight smell but to be honest its very mild (have to hold up to my nose to smell it) and its not a bad smell. Would by over and over again. I use this 2-3 times a week

I love this product so much. You have to reapply it every once in awhile but it does help a lot with chafing. It does not stain clothes and doesn’t feel greasy. The smell is very faint which is great.

This stuff is great! I had the small container version before but if it’s not at the right temperature, it can be quite difficult to get out.
This on the other hand is perfect! I just turn the nob to push more out (like deodorant) then rub it on your body where you don’t want things to hurt and you’re good to go!

Great product to prevent chaffing under my work dresses, or any dress for that matter! Great for wearing shorts too! I purchased this product as my thighs rub when I walk, and unfortunately if I don’t have on pants, it basically feels like a carpet burn on my thighs. When I started using this product, I felt relief for the entire work day. I didn’t need to reapply, didn’t smell like where shea butter, and this product did not make my legs sweat. The tube is shaped like deodorant and easily concealed in your purse if you need it. However, once I apply in the morning, I’m good to go all day! Will definitely purchase again!

I purchased this chafing cream to combat discomfort during hot weather, and it works well under skirts. The cream itself provides excellent protection against chafing and irritation, keeping me comfortable throughout the day.
However, I noticed a couple of drawbacks. In hot temperatures, the stick tends to melt inside its plastic casing, which can be messy and inconvenient. Additionally, when wearing denim shorts, I found that the cream tends to rub off more quickly compared to when I wear skirts.
Despite these issues, I still find the cream effective for its primary purpose of preventing chafing under skirts. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It has definitely improved my comfort level, especially during warmer months.
If you primarily wear skirts and are looking for a reliable chafing solution, this cream is a good choice. Just be aware of the melting issue in hot weather and consider an alternative if you often wear denim shorts.

truly the best anti chafing balm I have ever used. does the job for short runs and ultras. super handy. natural ingredients make it smell lovely (kinda wanna eat it too!) but not too intense. seems pricey but last a long time even with 5 runs a week. highly recommended.

This product is truly heads and tails (pun intended) above any other anti chaffing salve I’ve used. The lather is perfect for protecting the skin and allowing motion without friction! Highly recommend!!
