So I’ve tried all of striking Vikings beard oils and beard balm from a sampler set that comes with all their sense in a 1oz bottle for the oils and a 1oz container for the beard balm. They are great quality beard oils. I like them all. I even ended up buying some of their 2 ounce beard oils and balms. Top quality stuff feels really good in my beard.
Now their beard wash and beard conditioner is also top quality stuff feels really good in my hair. I even use it as a shampoo for my head hair and works great for both my beard and head hair. Leaves a fresh clean feeling leaves beard feeling soft and clean and feels even better once you get the striking Viking beard oil, and balm in after a shower. I would definitely recommend trying their beard oils, beard balms, and beard shampoos, and conditioner I feel you will not regret it. I’ve had a very good experience with this brand and product. I am now a regular customer for striking Viking.

Let’s get the bad out of the way first. First thing is this smells nothing like sandalwood. Neither the shampoo or conditioner. It has more of a chemical smell, sometimes with a hint of rubber or solvent. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not strong or obnoxious and I think it’s tolerable, it’s just not sandalwood.
Then there’s the goobers in the shampoo. I don’t know if they are in the soap still in the bottle or if it dries in the tube, but every day or two the pump spits out a semi-solid glob. This is more of a annoyance than anything.
So, why the 5 stars? I’ve tried lots of different beard shampoos, balms, oils, etc. And this is by far the best beard wash and conditioner that I’ve tried. Combined with their beard oil, my beard is soft, my skin doesn’t itch and I can wear a black shirt without being paranoid about beard-druff. I might try a different scent, but I’ll definitely keep using it.

I was a bit sceptical about the claims. I purchased this with matching beard oil. It has been over a month using both products. My beard is softer and does not itch! Will be buying this product regularly. The sandalwood scent is a nice add, and my wife likes the smell and feel of my beard. Win, win. Got a beard? GET THIS.
