Easy to use hair bun maker for a reasonable price. I bought this and it’s really easy to use to make a bun. The product is basically molded soft puffy foam over a wire core inside. The puffiness of the foam gives your bun more volume so that’s a plus. But, the foam portion is also really cheap looking so if you use this, you have to make sure that your hair hides all of the foam portions which might peek out from underneath.

For better or worse, the kind of foam on this product is very grippy so it’s good for when you’re rolling up your hair to get it into the bun, but when you’re trying to take it off, it snags and entangles your hair very easily, so you could damage your hair in the process. You have to be extra, extra careful taking it out of your hair. It would be better if the foam were covered in fabric so it doesn’t snag your hair but then you’d give up some of the ease of getting it up. For the ease of use and the price, you can’t really expect too much.

    The good:
    – Affordable
    – Easy to use

    The bad:
    – Looks cheap if it shows so you have to make sure to cover up all parts of the foam
    – Taking down the hair, especially if you have long layered hair, can be difficult as the foam has a grip and it can easily snag and entangle hair

Overall, it’s okay and I do use it but am super careful when taking the bun maker out of my hair.

I was disappointed with the **Styla Hair Bun Maker** 4 Pack. The foam sponges feel flimsy and don’t hold up well throughout the day. Even with the included hair ties and shaper accessories, it’s difficult to create a secure bun, especially for thicker hair. The sponges don’t seem durable, and after a few uses, they started to lose their shape.

The smaller size is barely usable for anything other than very fine hair, and the larger ones don’t provide the volume I expected for a proper updo. While the idea is nice, the overall quality and performance of these bun makers fell short of my expectations.

I wasn’t sure whether I should put my daughter’s hair through the slit in the middle or just lay it over the hair piece before rolling it up. The instructions were vague about that too.
After I did roll it up, it was difficult getting the bun to stay in the right position on my daughter’s head. Even with Bobby pins to secure it, the whole piece/bun would start leaving away from her head. I wound up using a little hair net to secure the bun in place more.
This product is ok, but I would not buy it again.

These are the most comfortable bun makers I’ve tried. From May through September, my hair is up and every single day I can guarantee with absolute certainty it will end with a massive headache. I wish I could personally thank whoever created these bec they’ve saved me from so much pain…

I have used these for years. I got some for my 6 year old niece. She walked around all day saying how pretty she feels.

    Facile à utiliser , rapide , joli

  8. Donna Lee

Got these for my 9 year old that loves to wear a bun. They are simple to use and hold all day.

  9. AnnaB

Better than the ones I’ve bought in the past at night box stores.

  10. Nicole Thompson

I love how these don’t pull my hair. But I do advise to wear the band and then wrap. After three years the metal inside did poke through my first set ( was not wearing ponytail band, so I was wrapping tighter 🤷‍♀️). I have tick hair and they hold all day (6a.m. – 7 p.m.).

No me ha gustado nada porque engo el pelo fino y no me sujeta nada y eso no lo dicen en la descripción

Ordered a few different products for my daughters and this is my favourite. Lightweight, easy to use, holds in place with elastic and bobby pins. Not sure how long it will last but I’ll definitely be ordering more.
