Upon receiving my Style Icon Lace Front wig in the color TT4/AMBRS (which is a rooted light lilac sort of color), I was mad! Why? Because over the last couple of years I’ve unnecessarily spent hundreds of dollars on well known, brand name, top-of-the-line wigs that DON’T match the quality of the Style Icon wig I now have through Amazon for FAR LESS money! I’m not kidding, this new wig is absolutely beautiful *and* realistic (which is my top criterion)! To my delight, the lace lays flat on my forehead just as it should, the hairline – which I’ll customize a bit more for myself through plucking – isn’t too thick but instead looks like it’s growing right out of my head, the part is deep and long and perfect, and the hair itself is remarkably soft and pretty. And unlike the far more expensive wigs I have, the hair is not overly shiny, but looks like real hair. In fact, upon seeing this wig my daughter exclaimed, “Wow, that’s a nice one, Mom – better than the other ones you have!” I agree with her completely, so I turned right around and ordered a second wig, this time in the gray color. I’m so excited to customize this terrific wig (I’ll be cutting it shorter since I’m in my fifties) and wear it out! I have no doubt I’ll be re-ordering this wig in various colors as long as it’s available because of its realism and since it’s one of the very few that has a side-part instead of a center part (I’ve parted my hair on the side since I was a kid). So to sum things up? BUY THIS WIG – it really is a high-end product without the ridiculous price and you WON’T be sorry!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but once it arrived, I was beyond pleased! I like long wigs, especially curly. I’m also a fan of synthetic wigs because the cap is more stiff making it to where I don’t have to glue the wig down. Feels more secure than human hair wigs. It was really soft coming out the packaging. It surprised me. I usually don’t like 1b color but it’s actually nice. I tend to buy jet black but this almost looks jet black. I only tinted the lace and that’s it. It’s really pretty. If it starts to look worn I’m going to finger comb and add mousse in it. Other than that, I’ll order another one in case they go out of stock. It’s worth what it costs so I’m pleased!

Style icon is finally catching on! The lace is light, almost transparent, so yes it’s light-skinned friendly (even in 1b) Side note- Asian vendors kill me with the dark, crazy colored lace. They need to understand It’s easier to tint lace and make it darker to match your skin tone, but you CANT make lace lighter. Back to this wig- The density of this wig is also on point. I love the hair line and how the density gradually gets thicker. Very natural looking- better than most of my human wigs. I can’t speak for longevity because I’ve only had it 2 days, I’m just in love with the lace and hairline. It’s synthetic so I don’t expect it to last long.
Now for the bad news, this is definitely not a 360 lace wig AND this wig does not go ear to ear. I don’t have a big head, I fit most lace wigs just fine. In fact the hairline shape Matches mine perfectly it just runs small, so I have to leave almost 1 inch of my edges out on each side. I have ordered style icon in the past they all run similar- small. they need to make their wigs bigger, it’s easier for customers to trim hairline, you CANT add More hair… unless you know how to ventilate- which is too much damn work.
STYLE ICON PLEASE FIX AND YOU WILL HAVE A WINNING BRAND!
Update: it tangles like crazy and there was shedding. Seriously It looked great the first WEEKEND(2-3days) after that I had to constantly detangle. And it’s not me, I either take it off or braid it before exercise or going to bed, I always spray with water and cheap conditioner before manipulation (IMO silicone based products work better than fabric softener.) after about a week I straightened it and clip the ends occasionally. All in all I got about a good 3 weeks of wear BUT there was definitely a lot of maintenance involved. It’s not shiny, the strands are nice and thin, it looks like human hair but the maintenance is a pain in the butt. I bought 2 and after going through the same thing twice I was over it. I would buy this wig again only if they lowered the price or if I wanted this particular look for a special occasion. This is not a wear everyday wig.

It’s great arrived in Nice packaging. Very soft texture will need a little alteration with cutting back the lace but do it carefully otherwise great wig looks great on

I bought this wig initially to wear under a baseball cap to braid because I assumed it would be thin/scrappy on top, but this wig is ready to go!
Wig is adjustable to your head using clasps in the back. I still am figuring out the best parting for the styling I want to do, but the wig functions as pictured and can be arranged with product. Did some light head banging in this wig and she did not budge.
Minimal shedding so far but I can see down the road this wig will be good for the money you paid for it – a good time, not a long time!

Wore this wig to work today for the first time and I had many compliments. It’s comfortable and the first wig I’ve bought that doesn’t itch my head. Best wig I’ve bought yet and I have over 20 wigs so that says a lot. Think I may purchase the lighter colour

I have the hair installed for about 4 days now. And this hair got tangled even as I installed it..yes it’s synthetic and I wasn’t expecting a miracle but this was a waste of money….save you money and skip the purchase..or try it for yourself but trust me..you will be back here writing the same toned review….I could have given it 0 stars if that was a thing

Absolutely Love this wig! This wig has quality construction and is the best long style I have purchased! My hair is naturally curly brown, and I am losing it, but what is left is still, naturally curly brown (only a few strands of gray, that I am ignoring, lol). It’s very hard to find a curly wig that looks natural, especially in a synthetic…I had my doubts when I ordered, but when I tried it on, it was truly a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations! The color and style are perfect; finally a wig very close to my natural hair! Honestly, if I could grow it long, I am certain this is what my hair, naturally would look like (and my husband agrees).
