I got this as a sample a year ago and loved it so much I decided to purchase it. It has a rich, lush, moisturizing feel, and I use it as a night time moisturizer. Will definitely repurchase.

I was hesitant to buy this product as skin-care enthusiast that a, has skin-care budget limits and b, dry, eczema-prone skin. Some of the paid reviewers claimed that this is a layer in addition to your moisturizer. While some might thrive with 8 step routines, I prefer to have a few items that actually work and meet the needs of my skin. Sulwhasoo allows for both approaches.
Let’s get this straight: This is for all intents and purposes a lightweight moisturizer/lotion that only requires a few pumps. At my current rate, the emulsion will likely last me most of the summer, making it outstanding value for money. Adding extra occlusive layers might work for you, but to me that feels like overkill as the emulsion already has an almost oil-like texture that absorbs nicely.
Overall, the product gives my skin a subtle glow during the day with some SPF. At night, my skin feels nourished and moisturized. The fragrance is perfectly fine for my skin and disappears within seconds when applied.

Sulwhasoo Essential Comfort Balancing Emulsion
This stuff is amazing – it is super hydrating and healing. It is like a thin lotion but really packs a punch with really great ingredients. This is basically a one-step skin care system since it has a serum, essence, toner, and lotion. While it is hydrating, I do have to apply another cream on top since I have super dry skin. If you have normal skin, this could be your all-in-one. It is part of a multi-step skin care system but I found that just this and a cream work wonders.
This comes in a glass bottle with a built-in pump dispenser and contains 125ml. It is made in Korea and expires in 5.24 but should be used within 12 months of opening. The box is not safety-sealed.

Gotcha Covered Girl –
Hoping once again they would have some natural moisturizing ingrediencies, but they have the same drying ones that have flooded the USA. They all have the same “feel good and solt” ingredient that is put in hair conditioners, so they feel good going on. But several hours later my skin is dry again. If I keep putting on again and again x3/ day I start to feel my skin is dryer then before I started using-THEY DRY!

Comes in a good-sized glass bottle, with subtle sparkles in the coloring. One pump is plenty to dot around my face and gently pat on. It spreads easily and is not heavy – I can use this after a toner and not need a heavier cream most days without my skin drying out. This has a scent kind of like lemon balm… it’s not as bad as citronella, but there’s a hint of it – this does contain fragrance, perhaps look it up on INCI Decoder and see if there’s anything you might be sensitive to.
