  • MINERAL SPF 30 TINTED SUNCREEN FACE LOTION. Some of us like to go au naturel. Our tinted, zinc-based Mineral sunscreen face lotion glides on like butter and acts as a primer, leaving a matte finish with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 protection.
  • CHEMICAL FREE SUNSCREEN. Our zinc-based Mineral collection was created for your lounging and earth loving pleasure. Lightweight and silky, this Sun Bum collection is sure to leave your skin feeling clean, natural and protected!
  • HOW TO USE. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and every 2 hours. Sonny’s Tip: A white tint is normal, as this rad screen sits on top of your skin as opposed to absorbing into your skin!
  • PROTECT YOUR SKIN. The key to safe sun is to protect and moisturize your skin. Our Mineral Sunscreen line is enriched with Zinc Oxide, and is Gluten and Cruelty and Free to ensure a fun, clean day in the sun.
  • TRUST THE BUM. What does that mean? It means trust us, the ones who live on the beach and need products that work on the most intense days in the sun. The simple truth is, when you make products to protect the ones you love, you make ‘em better.

I’ve been using sunbum mineral sunscreen for a while (because my dermatologist made a really good case for mineral sunscreen, sigh). The white cast of the skin is a small price to pay, because skin cancer sucks. Sunbum mineral has the least white residue of the mineral sunscreens I tried, but TBH, I went without sunscreen on my face sometimes because I didn’t want to look like a mime.

So, I was pretty excited to try the tinted version.

Wow! Huge difference! My skin looks like I have nothing on (no sunscreen, no foundation) and no white skin!

It has the consistency of whipped butter and goes on really easily and smoothly.

I’ll be wearing sunscreen much more regularly now. My dermatologist will be happy.

I have been using Sun Bum Face lotion as my foundation for years. It’s a perfect shade for me and has SPF which is important.

I have rosacea and need to wear sunscreen all the time. I’ve tried several expensive brands and they always bothered either my skin or my eyes. This one is perfect and the price is reasonable. The tint seems to work on all of our skin tones (my daughters are fair, I’m more medium in the summer) and it has a subtle matte finish. Please start making it in an spf 50!

I’m a light neutral pink skintone. It matches my skintone just fine. It looks dark, but it isnt.

Im getting older and my il makiage matte foundation looks soooooooo bad on me all of a sudden. I had to start mixing it with this tinted sunscreen and now it glides on dewey and velvety.

Yes, the sunscreen has light coverage by itself, but i need something more than that to even out my skin tone. Its not enough for me. So, i mix with a tiny pump of foundation and its beautiful.

At first it feels like it’s just sitting on the top of your skin and will just smear right off, but just give it a second. Dont vigorously rub it in, just let it settle on it’s own and it’ll look great.

I have a hard time washing it off. Idk if it’s the zinc or just the combination of the two products, but you might find you need makeup remover or micellar water or oil cleanser. I dont have any of those things, so its a bit annoying. I started using vanicream petroleum lotion as a facewash to get it off, but soap, gylcerin, and exfoliant dont work.

All in all, this stuff is fantastic. I switched to this because it’s gluten free so i dont have to worry about getting gluten on my hands or in my mouth (no, gluten wont absorb through your skin. but it can get in your mouth and on your hands and thus on your food as well. It’s best to choose gluten free products when it comes to sunscreen, lotion, foundation and lip balm/lipstick)

Great if you’re going for the ‘No make-up’ makeup look. Offers decent coverage. Skin looks…polished.

  6. Sue

Doesn’t make you break out, nice tint for multiple skin tones once rubbed in. Texture is like a mousse for your face. Doesn’t feel sticky or oily at all, and I didn’t get burned on my 8 day lake trip using it! I would recommend.

  7. Krysta Upshaw

I bought this product recently and only after few days of use , I could see the liquid part of the sunscreen is separated from the solid part. And on applying it on face it makes ur face so dry. Expensive, so I was expecting it a good experience, but it I ‘m disappointed.

  8. Margaret

I’ve been using this product for years now, and absolutely love it. It’s perfect for everyday wear and generally works well under my makeup. If I’m at the pool or beach-I definitely reapply.

  9. Kylie Simpson

When I tried to use this product my whole face started to itch requiring multiple days of Benadryl as my face cream.

Too late for me to return but wanted to let others know.

  10. Jujubea

I love this stuff! I don’t wear makeup so this is just enough tint and coverage to even out my complexion and it feels so smooth and nice!
