I really did want to love this stuff. I used to swear by Sunday Riley but in the last couple years I’ve been let down each time I’ve tried a new product of theirs, and this time was no exception. Thankfully this time I bought the .5oz size instead of the bigger bottle.
I kinda like the smell of this stuff but it’s hard to describe. That’s probably my favorite thing about it. It doesn’t help my acne at all. I’ve used it religiously for 2 months now with absolutely no improvement. Not to advertise for another brand but…..that’s exactly what’s about to happen .. because I started using Niacinamide 10%+Zinc1% from The Ordinary less than 2 weeks ago and I already see a drastic improvement in the amount of blemishes on my face, and the size of my pores appears to be a lot smaller. Also, it prevents your face from getting shiny looking. I won’t be buying this stuff again when I can get something that actually works, for six bucks!

This product is *very* expensive BUT it works great and you only need a small amount to cover your entire face. It does have a greasy feel, but that’s to be expected for the ingredients. Alternative products probably work just as well if this price is too much of a turn-off.

¡Me gustó mucho el producto! Por lo único que le pongo 4 estrellas no es el olor de hecho a mi me gustó bastante aunque otros usuarios digan que huele mal. Tengo la piel muy grasa y con tendencia acneica. La caja recomienda utilizar el producto tres veces al día, por lo menos para mi fue demasiado. Cómo dije tengo la piel muy grasa y usando este producto mi piel se volvio seca seca y me comencé a espantar porque todos los productos que utilizo son para piel grasa. Aún con el humectante no ayudaba mucho, comencé a utilizarlo dos veces al día y tampoco ayudo. Tenía la piel muy reseca, me bajé a una vez al día (lo utilizo en la mañana ya que en la noche utilizo Retin A) bueno pues después de bajar la dosis me fue mejor, comencé a ver resultados y en cuanto a la piel ahora mi piel es normal. Aunque sea un aceite ayuda mucho a quitar la grasa de la cara jajaja quién lo diría. A veces lo utilizo en conjunto con Good Genes y me va muy bien. Ojalá no quiten el producto de amazon porque me encantó, espero pongan el tamaño de 30ml 🙂 Mmm mucha gente se queja del precio pero realmente no hay que utilizar mucho (uso entre 4 o 5 gotas) siento que va a durar un rato pero espero que siga el producto en existencia cuando se acabe el mío. No es un producto barato pero en relación a lo que dura no se me hace caro, good genes ya es otra historia.

have REALLY sensitive, dry skin. That dryness causes my skin to overcompensate and produce excess oil. I have never had a history of acne, but the increase in stress has started to cause far more blemishes. I received this in my ipsy back a while back and this is probably the only acne/blemish product that does not severely irritate or dry out my skin and I can start to see and feel a difference almost immediately.
But I should add this works in SMALL quantities. It’s a thick oil, so if layered too heavy, you will look and feel extremely greasy. I use just a few drops with my moisturizer or bb cream/tinted oils/etc on the days when I am breaking out and any blemishes start to heal or fade due to the salicylic acid, and the milk thistle and cucumber seed keep your skin from drying out.

I don’t write lots of reviews but last fall I started trying a few face oils in an effort to find one that works for me. I wanted something to balance my skin but also revitalize it like a good serum brighten and moisturize. I’m happy to say that this is the winner!!! At first I didn’t like it my skin kinda broke out and it took about a month to get adjusted but I kept using it and now my skin is balanced it has a healthy glow , I have gotten tons of compliments even from my esthetician daughter asked if I was using a new moisturizer. So worth the effort, I use most nights before bed and sometimes a little bit in the morning before my tinted moisturizer with sunscreen.

– Me gustó que el empaque protege mucho el envase de vidrio por lo que difícilmente puede llegar el producto roto o con el suero derramado.
– Hidratación muy buena sin dejar la cara grasosa, me encanta porque se absorbe rápido y amanezco con la cara muy suave.
– Respecto al olor que mencionan, sólo lo uso en las noches así que no me molesta, y a mi gusto no es desagradable.
– Llegó en tiempo y forma.
– Le pongo 4 estrellas porque aún no compruebo la eficacia con las cicatrices por acné (razón por la que lo compré) porque aún tengo una semana usándolo, lo que si noté instantáneamente es que redujo las rojeces de mi cara (tal vez porque el color del suero es verde y las contrarresta). Espero que así como hidrata sea efectivo con las cicatrices por acné.
– Hasta ahorita me encanta y lo recomiendo porque aún si no es efectivo con las cicatrices (me falta comprobarlo), es muy buen hidratante.

Wow, tried this serum for the first time last night and I can’t believe the results.
I have always had sensitive, acne prone, congested skin. Tried accutane (which helped for some time, then came back), prescription face washes, retinol / retin A creams, all from my doctor and dermatologist. I got to a point where I lost hope because everything was way too harsh, my skin was constantly burning and in pain for years. So, I just stopped all products after using them for years and it not improving. For the past 6 months, I only use a gentle water based facial cleaner, and ceraVe lotion. The burning and irritation went away, but still having the annoying break outs, and deep cystic type pimples on my cheeks that scar😣
So I thought I’d look around and found this serum! I thought the ingredients were great and gentle enough for my skin. Last night was the first night and WOW I’m impressed so far. The red spots are much lighter, my skin is visibly less red and inflamed. Can’t wait to see how my skin looks in a few months from now. Definitely recommend this product for people who have sensitive skin like me!

This oil is incredible! Just one application left my skin looking brighter and clearer. I have extremely sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. I suffer with everything from blackheads to cysts yet my skin is so sensitive that I can’t tolerate most acne products. I was getting desperate to find something to help, so I took the gamble on this oil and am so glad I did!!! It leaves no oily residue and is super gentle yet very effective. Plus a little goes a long way. The smell isn’t the best, but I find it tolerable since it’s a natural smell from the oils themselves. I can’t stand chemical fragrances, so this natural scent is much more tolerable than a heavily fragranced product.
So overall, I highly recommend this product!!! It does wonders for oily, acne prone skin and is worth every penny!!!

nunca me han gustado los benditos aceites para el rostro desde los de the ordinary hasta los de drunk elephant de marula todos me han parecido poco efectivos , incomodos y no han dado resultado alguno HASTA que probe estos empece con juno despues de leer la reseña en beautypedia y decidi comprarlo EL MEJOR ACEITE PARA MEZCLAR CON RETIN A y despues compre este y es una maravilla lo uso solo por las noches y en la mañana mi piel se ve mas luminosa , ojo no es magico tienes que ser constante y segun beautypedia tiene un ingrediente potencialmente irritante, a mi no me molestado en lo absoluto pero checalo primero , lo recomiendo cien por ciento si tienes brotes en la piel y buscas algo “natural” o buscas evitar peroxido de benzoilo , MUY BUENO

I love the way my skin glows. The black licorice smell is strong but I don’t mind it. My husband does so I just don’t wear it to bed. It has evened out my hyperpigmentation and smothed my skin. A little goes a long way. It’s a keeper.
