I can’t tolerate chemical sunscreens so I am always on the hunt for mineral sunscreens for my face. This eye cream/sunscreen has no smell and a shimmer to it that is lovely! It gives it an immediate brightening effect around the eye. However, the brightening/shimmer effect doesn’t last long. Also, if you wear makeup on top of this, be aware that it can cause some piling. I would not purchase this again because it doesn’t seem to offer anything beyond just a regular facial mineral sunscreen.

    Pros:
    No fragrance
    Good sun protection (SPF 40)

    Cons:
    Brightening effect doesn’t last
Thick consistency that doesn’t sit well under makeup.

Il ne fait pas mal aux yeux mais j’ai des petits boutons qui ont commencé à apparaître autour des yeux (grains de milium), j’ai dû arrêter en urgence, heureusement ils sont partis.
Je déconseille surtout vu le prix.

I’m glad I didn’t write this review right when I got this stuff. At first try I thought it was too tacky, and it is a little tacky but if you work around the dry piece that comes out initially it’s not as tacky as it seems, and it brightens my under eyes beautifully. It stays on for a while if you set it with powder (lightly to prevent settling into fine lines) and I will be buying again.

I love supercool but this is a total miss. I used leftover fsa money and wanted to love it. The first time I used it it pilled like crazy. Second time I used a little less and it still pilled and then left a weird orange yellow cast that looked like I was bruised. After the third time I threw it away as I couldn’t take it. Don’t do it and trust the reviews.

  5. Just my opinion

I want to write a regular run of the mill review for selfis reasons such as keeping enough product in stock. But I can’t do that! This product is fabulous! It is like a creamy moisturizer that just a very little bit goes a long way. I squeezed out product a little bit more than a peppercorn but a little bit less than a pea for each eye, and it covered both eyes, underneath and above. It had a moisturizing effect on my skin and was not sticky. It’s about light to medium weight. It lasts all day.

The only concern is it pills about 5-10% underneath the eyes. (Not on lids or below eyebrows or side of eyes). I think it’s because I’m not putting moisturizer on under the product in my under eye area. It is so mild, that it is not a big deal and I simply brush it away. I also want to try the eyeshadow from this seller to see if it brightens my eyes even more.

The obvious negative side is that it’s expensive and the only competition I can find does not have the same quality. I don’t know why us buyers are not asking sellers for eye sunscreen? There’s face sunscreen that is a huge market but our eyes are the most delicate features on our face. We should be using sunscreen on our eyes every day. No wonder there’s such a huge market for eye moisturizers! All of our eyes have been exposed to the sun everyday.

Well it’s sad for me but I can’t afford this awesome product on a long term basis. Hopefully if more people buy it, the seller will lower the price? It’s definitely worth the price in my opinion, at least to try it out to get your own opinion.

It was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I did not want to buy it right away, as it is pretty expensive, I was trying other options. But nothing else worked for me :c So now I absolutely don’t regret taking this one! I have insanely sensitive skin and this one almost never burns (I have burning even from prescription hydrocortisone). This one can give me discomfort only when my eyelids are already very dry and irritated and burn by themselves.
It is almost invisible, but I have pale skin. Makes eyes a little bit brighter, I’m not sure if it will look so good in deeper skin tones

This sunscreen “sets” extremely fast, and becomes very tacky and difficult to spread after only a couple of minutes.
The first time I tried to use this sunscreen, it immediately pilled up, became tacky, and settled in the creases of my eyes. I was really sad because I like the regular supergoop but it causes bad stinging when I use it in my eye area. I will say that despite the pilling, I immediately noticed my eye area looked significantly brighter, I think due to the pinkish tint, not in a bad white cast sunscreen kinda way.

I’ve found that the best way to use it is to make sure your eye area is moisturized with moisturizer, which helps it spread better. Then you have to really blend it in quickly before it sets. This kinda helps it to pill less/settle in the creases less. The pink tint really masks my dark circles and discoloration around my eyes and sort of makes them “pop” in a nice way. I could almost go without concealer/foundation with this.

Sort of expensive for how finnicky it is, but I am finding that my eyes still look nice and bright at the end of the day (altho up close you might notice a bit of creasing) when I wear this so idk! Before when applying the regular supergoop sunscreen in the eye area my dark circles kinda amplified and looked awful at the end of the day, even with makeup. I think the tackiness of this makes it good to apply makeup over and it helps it stick better, as well as giving it a nice pink undershade to cancel out the dark colors.
