Hate! I have dry skin, so this product claimed to leave skin feeling moisturized. It is the greasiest thing I have ever put on my face! Like so much so that I put on my shirt after applying the moisturizer, and it left an oil stain on my shirt that I can’t get out!!
I applied make up over it to see if I could take the shine off, to no avail. I look like bacon straight out of the frying pan.
It also has a weird smell that I don’t know how to describe — playdo maybe??
The worst part is, because I’ve used it, I can’t return it. So if you’re going to try a supergoop product, buy it directly from their site, not Amazon!
I’ve been very happy with their other products, but this one is a complete and utter failure.

I’ve been using this ultra hydrating sunscreen for years and wouldn’t use anything else. Being a fair skinned person requires me to be extra careful in the sun. Supergoop products are fantastic!

And this stuff is the tittttttttts.
I’m in my mid ’40s, have the skin of someone in their mid-thirties and swore I would never leave my beloved La Roche posay SPF face fluids but I gotta say… This stuff is amazing.
It’s a cream with a silky almost gel finish but doesn’t have that powderiness I associate with a gel finish. I love the scent and I hate scented products. I’m picking up a very very light rose water smell and it makes me happy in the morning. It’s mildly moisturizing, leaves no cast, and finishes wonderfully especially if you’re going to come in with a cream or liquid face makeup. A lot of times I’ll just mix this with a lightweight foundation or the MDsolar or EltaMD tinted SPFs and have more than enough coverage for all day time activities.
I like this a lot more than I expected. And it’s FSA eligible!

I started using Supergoop products in 2024, and I love many of the face creams/gels. This daily moisturizer is wonderful, and I have even used it at night even though it is designed as an SPF face product. It works as a magnificent face moisturizer at any time of day!! So, between this product and the unseen sunscreen Supergoop makes, I use their face creams and gels every single day!! Plus, they really do protect your face.
** I have pale, white European skin, and it is mature skin that needs moisture, and none of the Supergoop skincare causes clogged pores or breakouts. I have never had a suburn with these face products either.

It’s ok I guess but I’m not using it again, it will just live in my bathroom cabinet now. Firstly, the smell is very unpleasant. The feel isn’t that nice and it remains a bit tacky for the rest of the day. As for a second application, get ready to wash it all off to reapply as adding more on will feel heavy and slippy. I tried it with mascara and after 2 hours, I looked quite panda like.
Finally, this I should have done a bit more research on before and that’s on me, but there are currently queries over the safety of Avobenzone and Homosalate. Obviously, thats up to you, but personally, I’ve found better products that have better ingredients and feel better for me.

Goes on smooth. Not greasy. It’s SPF 40. I’ve tried their other products which are cheaper and they are greasy. This product is worth the extra spend!
