I’ve tried to get back to the basics when it comes to my natural hair. For deep conditioning my thick low porosity added heat is a must to get any type of moisture into my hair this hooded dryer is perfect for that. It’s also nice to set my natural hairstyles and then finish air drying the rest of the way. Good quality worth the money.

I selected this hooded dryer to use when I apply deep conditioner and to use to dry my wavy hair. The dryer is easy to setup and is fairly lightweight for its size. It’s super simple to operate, just plug it in and turn it on and adjust temperature with a single knob. The dryer has a nice, long power cord making it easy to set up just about anywhere. I set it up on a dining table and sat in a standard chair. It was a comfortable positioning.
I have used it with deep conditioner to get better results from the conditioner and it does a good job of getting the best benefits out of the treatments. I also like that I can use this instead of a diffuser to dry my hair’s natural waves. It gives my hair a great beach look.
I also tested it with rollers, and I found that even my largest roller fit inside the hood with no issue. Drying my hair in rollers took a long time, but it was very relaxing. It’s easy on the arms and I read my email while waiting. The hair roller drying resulted in very long lasting, smooth curls.

My girlfriend and I both have long hair, So I figured this would be a good grab for either of us, Never did I realize that I’d be using this thing as much as I do I got this mainly for my girlfriend to use, but we both love it so much. With 3 different drying settings, you can really get the feel and finish you want on your hair, where I like to dry it quick and fast to get out the door while my girlfriend likes to brush and go slowly.

I’m old enough to remember having my hair dried ‘at the shop’ under a hooded dryer and I” admit I got super excited ordering this product from TASALON.
Just as wonderful an experience as I remembered when I used this dryer – seated, reading or relaxing with eyes closed, while warm air gently dried my curly hair with no frizz. Ahhhhhhh – a little luxury in a fast paced, non-stop world is never a bad thing.
Easy, easy, easy to unbox, set up and to use. Easy to store when not in use. Not a single downside whatsoever to my experience using this hooded dryer.
BONUS – This drier is PERFECT to accelerate a deep conditioning session. I love to use a thick hair mask and a foil lined bonnet over the hair and then sit under this dryer for 30 minutes. Luxury hair!!
Highly recommend – just get this of you’re tired of keeping your arms over your head for 30 minutes when you dry your hair!

I have long, very thick, wavy hair that is coarse and gets very frizzy. Because of this, my hair is usually either straightened or in a ponytail. Prior to ordering this, I hadn’t worn my hair in its natural state in years.
I sat this dryer on my dining room table and then sat in a dining room chair. It took a while to dry my hair but I have a lot of hair! And I didn’t even mind it because I was able to play on my phone or read a book at the same time. I was shocked by my hair when I finished. For once, I had nice, defined curls instead of a frizzy messy!!
So overall, if I’m planning to straighten my hair; I’ll use a traditional dryer because it’s so much faster. But for wearing my hair curly, this is the way to go.
