Love it! Works perfectly. Best purchase for my tattooing business!

This is a good machine for beginning tattooers. The prints are not always accurate and I have to make adjustments on the skin or add lost lines, but it works to get the job done.

When I first received it, the machine would not pull the paper through and made a loud clicking noise. I opened it up and pushed on the gears to find they were stuck. I almost returned in had I not figured that out. Afterwards it has worked as expected. Wish it provided clearer lines though. Next time I am buying a tattoo ink printer.

It was horrible it didn’t print the stencil at all and had a hard time getting my return wouldn’t suggest it!

EDIT: I Contacted Amazon Support Since I Couldn’t Contact This Seller, And They Redirected Me To The Manufacturer, Dragonhawk. I Messaged Them On Monday Afternoon And They Were Extremely Quick To Respond, And I Had A New Machine Sent To Me, Free Of Charge, And It Arrived Wednesday Morning. I Love The Quick Response From Dragonhawk And Their Willingness To Help Make This Purchase Right. I Understand You Get What You Pay For, But When You’re Paying $135, I Would Expect What I Bought To At Least Work For More Than 3 Months Before Giving Out And Being Completely Useless. I Do Like That Dragonhawk Was Quick And Respectful About The Situation And Did Everything They Could To Make It Right And I Appreciated It.

I Ordered This Product For Easy Travel And Packing For Conventions, And It Worked Great At First, Then 3 1/2 Months Later, And Of Course, AFTER The 2 Month Window To Return The Product, I Am Out $135 Bucks And Have A Useless Machine. I Used It A Couple Times And Now, I Get An Error Alert Every Time I Try To Run A Stencil. Even Worse, I Went Through Half A Box Of Stencil Paper Just To Try And Get A “Decent” And Useable Stencil But Each Time, Insanely Dark Lines Run Through The Entire Page. Definitely Not Worth The Money To Buy And Only Get A Handful Of Uses On Top Of Wasting Expensive Stencil Sheets. More Of A Hassle Than Anything, Unfortunately. Would Definitely Not Recommend This To Anyone. 2nd Gave Out And Stopped Working. Now Ot Won’t Turn On. I Wouldn’t Waste Your Money.

The machine works well but the stencils that came with it were very poor quality and worked very poorly

I see a lot of reviews, including the one of somebody trying to show this product is defective but they are using it incorrectly. If it comes out with lines, barely there, etc. you are definitely not using it correctly.

works well haven’t had a problem yet. just really smelt of plastic for a while. I would recommend leaving in a safe but open space to let the fumes disappear if you are really bugged by the scent.

I have been using these cheap-o style stencil machines since 2012. I believe i have purchased 4 in that time span — but I can say for sure I have owned 3. I have also used similar stencil makers at conventions and at a shop I worked with which i did not purchase. Simply to say, I have years of experience with this type of stencil machine.

I got this one today, and did a test run.

I can say it is without question the best stencil maker of his style/design I have used.

Now, Is it a thermafax? No. Although it is not as fast or easy to load as a thermafax, its much faster than earlier models, and much smoother too. I purchased this one to replace my current stencil machine; which is notably slower and was catching and dragging the paper. This one was so smooth I didn’t hold the stencil paper (as recommended) and i didn’t get a paper crumble. Honestly, my major gripe with the machine’s design is the stencil paper doesn’t have a convent manner or feeding through the machine.

That said, if you’re only accustomed to a thermafax, this machine is smaller, makes crispy clean stencil (great for intricate designs), less sensitive hardware, and no heat. Its not so hard to load, and you can learn the machine and save stencil paper, but you are going to waste far more stencil paper than with a thermafax, or thermafax style stencil machine.

I have used the epson, printers which print directly onto the stencil, and I was not a fan. The paper was too thick and the stencil was light and hard to apply. I also like to be able to adjust a design before I run my stencil and printing directly made this difficult ( in part because i was at a studio with only the stencil printer, but nonetheless less i think they’re wack.)

Prior to purchasing this stencil machine, I wanted to try one of the prominent printers (On AMAZON) that you can print from a device from, see if i preferred that. I didn’t like the IOS software, felt clumsy and an extra step. But i returned that model because I couldn’t safely fit in my stencil paper. Although I like the idea of printing from my ipad or clients phone etc, the technology didn’t feel like a step forward.

In Conclusion, If you are familiar with this type of stencil machine and unless they change their design (or distributer) etc, this is a solid buy. If you are not, the next quality stencil maker i have found (and used) is 10x the price of this machine. I can say, mine have had a self life of 3-4 years. I have also dropped mine… every model. If cost is keeping you away from the next step up, this i a great purchase for under $100, also a great back up and travel product.

*sidenote I’m not a review guy, but I am a tattooer who gets weary of buying tattoo products on Amazon and not through a proper supply company. So I appreciate a solid product.

Machine works great. Does not come with bonus sheets, I’m not the only one that didn’t get them so I’m guessing it’s on there by mistake. Couple things to do though 1. Unplug when your not using it to help keep it from over heating 2. Every few uses clean the rubber guide roller, it’ll pick up the transfer ink and collect making it harder for the paper to pass through. Which will end up not giving you a stencil and making it over heat 3. Works with classic and updated transfer paper. Older stuff seems to work better with a bolder lined image. New paper seems to work better for more fine lined images 4. I would hold the transfer paper as it’s coming through without tugging, it can on occasion roll itself back into the roller or into the paper image slot.
Hope this helps anyone considering it, I’m def not sorry I bought it. Get a way better stencil that is darker and stays longer than those dot matrix thermal printers

Just got this a few days ago. The first one I received had an issue with the feeder and didn’t operate correctly, sent it back and had a replacement in a few days. The replacement works great so far!

  11. The Copper Phoenix LLC

Works AMAZING! and so easy! Crisp clean lines. Just make sure you fit the transfer in straight, otherwise it will crinkle when it tries to feed the paper through while copying. I love it! I’ll probably look for the white copier in this model as well, just to have on hand. Great price, quick shipping! LOVE!
