Product works fine, but the scent is more musky than minty and lavender. The scent is strong and is a great change of pace from my standard shampoo and conditioner. The scent usually goes away or mellows out after my hair dries.

I used to use cheap shampoo, and my hair always looked dry. I’m a guy, so like most guys, I didn’t care.
One day, after my old barber retire (during covid), I was at my new hair cutter. The lady that was cutting my hair and I were talking during my haircut. I had told her a used to have a job that required a hard hat, and my hair had begun thinning on top. I told her that I used a certain shampoo because it’s got 5 vitamins and minerals, and she laughed. She said I needed something that moisturizes.
After trying a few different shampoos, I remembered hearing that Paul Mitchell (John Paul Degioria) was good. So I tried this one, and my hair looks and feels so much better! I’ve usually always shampooed daily, so I never had a problem with dandruff, but my hair was dry looking. Now, my hair looks RICH! It’s really the best way to put it. It’s become golden (I’m a blond) again, and it looks fuller on top! My scalp even feels better and healthier!
Now, when I use it, I lather it up and let it sit there for a minute or two before I wash it out….something I’ve never done before, so that may help, too. But I just believe that this is a great, quality product, and it smells great, too!
The only drawback is the price. It’s not cheap, but great products seldom are. I’ve finally gotten to the age (52) where i started thinking, let me me do good things for my body regardless of the price, and my hair is thanking me for it!

This shampoo cleans my hair so well. I was using a tea tree shampoo from a different brand and wanted to try something different as it felt too heavy and was hard to get a good lather. This shampoo lathers great and cleans my hair amazingly. I usually have to wash my hair two to three times to get it all the way clean ( I have a lot of hair and don’t wash it super often) this stuff cleans it in one to two times no problem. Rinses out well too. The smell is nice and fresh very lavender forward. I can smell it the next day in my hair as well.

Uso progressiva no cabelo, e quem faz sabe que isso deixa o couro cabeludo sensível, descamativo e oleoso. Esse shampoo é excelente. Não deixa coceira, nem caspa, e adia a próxima lavagem. Além no cheiro suave e presente da lavanda. Limpa muito bem , sem repuxar os fios.

It’s not a magic trick, but it makes the hair look great and smell great. My scalp is much better now and the curls are softer and less frizzy. Expensive but bottom line, I didn’t find another shampoo that gives the same results at minimum effort. Purchased three times by now.
FYI – I have long thick super dry curls and live in a super humid climate
