They don’t get soft enough to make deep imprint for your gums, which is the whole point. Even if you put them in boiling water, they just warp and still don’t make a good imprint. The trays are meant to protect your gums and keep the whitening gel on your teeth. The imprint isn’t good and the gel leaks out and burns your gums. Don’t waste your time. I wish I could return the second unused pair but I feel bad returning a half used product

Only do one tray at a time. either top or bottem and use your tongue to push on the inside side section.

I notice in the reviews some people are complaining about “fit” …. I mean, if you want to spend $150 you can go get a custom made device, get impression of your teeth, and have molds made and then get a retainer-like whitening tray. But really? Really? The concept of using hot water to make a good enough fit for a $10 to $20 2-piece set has been around 50+ years. It’s not rocket science, and wouldn’t announce that you have trouble with tasks like that when you use your real full name on Amazon. Just sayin’.

I don’t know what happened. But I just got two pieces of silicon completely melted. It went from the package to the trash bin..

As long as you follow the instructions, the whole instructions it works! Don’t worry about it getting to hot in your mouth. Heres my step.
Before I put them in my mouth I washed them, then made it a spot comfortable where it will sit and practice like it said in step 1
I boiled water in a tea kettle, poured in a small cooking pan – no boil
Dipped one tray in, counted to 5,pulled straight out to hang “dry” for 2 seconds – inserted on the top and sucked to seal it and used my fingers to get a good grip and held it that way until I felt it start to “harden” or get stiff, you’ll feel the difference. The bottom I did kind of mess up cuz I forgot to press my fingers against it, so I redipped it for 3 seconds pulled straight out and dipped back for another 3 seconds but had to make sure the back part didn’t fold cuz it will quick. But it worked the 2nd time too.
Hope this helps and works for yall too.
I would definitely purchase again as it was simple, easy, didn’t have any taste or smell like others I’ve experienced, and loved the redip to save the tray. It helped a lot.

It says “thin” but the trays are thick and took several tries to form to fit around the teeth like the ones made at the doctor’s office after speaking to the owner of the company. I lost my doctor made tray and was hoping to find a tray that would work as well more affordably… lost 1 point for not molding perfectly but will be usable.

I had called the 888 number when I saw how thick the trays were and the owner walked me through the process and also gave me a quick edu on the different gels to get the best results. FOr a quick fix I will use these trays and in the near future will contact the company to have them custom mold the trays from the kit they sell…

Thank you for all your help!

Does not have tooth grooves like 3/4 photos suggest. And while they’re clearly meant to be universal, they are ill-fitting and unmoldable.

Not as easy to mold to your teeth as the store bought ones. They are thicker so …

needs to the perfect temp and left in the perfect temp for the perfect amount of time or they become child size. Utterly frustrating and unusable after a few attempts. and even when you get them close to being right, they are too short. Buy 2 kits if you really want to give it a try so you have practice trays

    Great product,
You have to read the instructions, or you will mess the trays up.

Okay so I was a bit skeptical about these but I still ordered them. I got two pairs and they work just fine. What I like about these that I haven’t seen anyone in the reviews mentioned this far is that after hearing and molding them to your teeth, you can reheat them and mold them again. I recently got aligners (I got these before the aligners so I can whiten my teeth) and because my teeth are constantly moving now due to the aligners, it’s create that I can always reheat these and mold them to my teeth every time they shift.
