I’ve had my share of bad products on Amazon, but this is my first time writing a review.
Fadify *kinda* works… but it snags the hair… to the point where it’s *un*-usable.
(And yes, I’m using it correctly — perpendicular to the head, etc.)
And even when I try to go as slow as possible, it keeps snagging my son’s hair. Gave him the worst haircut in 10+ years of cutting his hair… and he wouldn’t even let me fix it (at least, not with Fadify). Just simply awful.
What’s WORSE is the seller. Simply wouldn’t refund or engage in an honest conversation about this.

as a business they need improving but the buzzer is definitely worth the money. I ordered this from their site about a year ago and it never showed up and alot people have had the same problem so there may be a manufacturing issue. then I saw it amazon prime and tried to buy it again. once i finally received it the design is nice however it’s not exactly easy to use without instructions, which it does not have. luckily i decided to watch a video on youtube which was extremely helpful and i’m really glad i did because i would have used it wrong and been upset that i didnt get the desired results. In the end i am giving 5 stars regaurdless of everything because i am very happy with the product despite the purchasing experience. i was able to do a very impressive fade! way better then i’ve done in the past with traditional clippers and i did my whole hair cut in about 2 minutes with this product. it’s very good to have. i recommend buying it on amazon and watching a tutorial online on how to change blades and how to hold the clipper while cutting.

I received an item that had leftover cut hair that looks like the item was refurbished or a returned product, the fading is not happening, there is no fade, it cuts in a straight pattern leaving a hard line.

I honestly can’t speak to how good the product is. I purchased mine after seeing an ad on FB about 2 years ago. I never received the item. Then I noticed they are selling here on Amazon and wanted to share my experience.
Customer service was terrible, they initially responded promising that it’ll arrive “soon” and eventually stop replying back to emails. It was such a hassle to deal with, and my CC company was never able to solve the issue. One of the worst purchase decisions I’ve ever made. This company stole my money!
If you think hey, maybe they’re better now, you may want to see how many others have had negative experiences with this company. Just don’t. And for the record, I’ve used similar items in the past (like tapered clipper attachments) and they don’t work, you just end up having uneven lines in your hair. Your best bet is to learn how to fade (I know, easier said than done…).

I saw this online and tried to purchase direct from the manufacturer a bit ago but got scammed as they never sent the product after a month and decided to do a chargeback with my credit card company. I decided to purchase this when I randomly found this on Amazon and bought from a seller where it was shipped from Amazon.com versus a third party. The product finally arrived and I was ecstatic to try it out as I have been cutting my own hair since the start of COVID and have not stopped.
My hair grows fast on the sides and back and I strongly prefer to be shaven down to the skin on those areas and blended towards the top. This means I cut my hair every 7 days. The process usually takes about two hours with a standard setup of clipper and trimmer as it takes time to get the lines right and do a proper blend. The appeal of this device was the ability to a fade (or blend) much faster.
I used this for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the results. Note that I do not “fade” but rather “blend” from a baby butt smooth (BBS) area to an area of hair. This device easily saves me about an hour as is it does actually accomplish a decent taper blend. You can adjust the RPM of the trimmer — the included directions do state to use the highest with the initial trim.
I do like the device a lot as it feels quality and the interface functions well. I do not like the fact that it uses a plastic blade versus a metal one. This was clearly designed to allow a recurring revenue to the company for blade replacements. I am not sure of how many cuts this will actually last me.
