Used a different brand during my second trimester but didn’t feel like it was worth the money. This was half the cost, is made of clean ingredients, and works well! It soaks in nicely, and doesn’t smell like anything which I love.

Well first off, I already had gotten stretch marks (mainly on my belly) from being pregnant of 7 months by the time I got this kit. So I wasn’t sure how effective it would be. For me, I applied either mixture (sometimes both) after showers, before going to bed. I would notice that the results in the morning were good, as my stretch marks would be less noticeable in appearance (I have the dark purple linear stretch marks on the lower part of my abdomen). The oil, while very nice and easy to apply/spread after a shower, you need to let soak in and dry a bit before getting dressed (or your clothes will get oily).
The lotion I’ve also applied after a shower, and it also works just as wonderfully, but it doesn’t spread as easily since it’s a thicker lotion mixture. I personally don’t like the smell of the lotion, it has a scent that I’m not familiar with, otherwise I’d try to explain, but it’s somewhat mild of a smell. So it’s not totally nauseating. The lotion I’ve starting using more for the daytime, applying it in the morning or late morning so I get more 24hr coverage to see if possibly the reduced appearance of the stretch marks will be longer lasting. We shall see after baby is born (39weeks!).
