I need and use sunscreen, but hate those which leave you with a greasy or oily feeling. This product provides excellent protection which you do not know is on your skin. I suspect it is glycerin based. In texture and feel, it is akin to Afta Shave, a product I used in years past in cold, windy weather after shaving. As much as I like this sunscreen, will not again buy it as it is overpriced. Instead, I buy its sister product, The Bod Guard for which I get over 3X the amount. Each has the same percentage of active sunscreen ingredients, look alike, and feel alike. The Mug Guard has some extra moisturizing ingredients. I can’t tell the difference.

this sunscreen leaves almost no white cast and does not make my skin feel greasy.

My only complaint is the high cost for a tiny amount. This was recommended to me by a dermatologist and I use it daily but will need to switch to something more affordable. I like that it soaks in and I can wear makeup over it though

Just got this product recently and couldn’t wait to try it out. The product went on nicely and smelled fine. But when I went to my daughter’s water polo game in 90 degree weather, the sunscreen got in my right eye causing stinging and irritation. I spent the entire day trying to dab it with water and flush it out. My eye got more irritated and lingered into the evening until bedtime. Even after I had washed it all off my face. I woke up the next morning with crust around my eye. So, this is a warning that you consider this when purchasing the product. Two days later and the skin around my eye is still irritated.

I recently purchased this product in addition to several other mineral-based sunscreens to do a little comparison.
I have only used this product once, but for myself, the smell was really overwhelming, especially given that it goes on your face. I do tend to be a bit sensitive to smells, but I have never really had this issue with any beauty products before. I literally just removed it from the shelf after being bothered for 15 mins. Maybe I’ll pass it along to someone else who’s less likely to be bothered. But I don’t think I can use this product again.
That being said, it seems like a very good sunscreen otherwise. Just beware the smell if you tend to be a little sensitive.

Goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. My family is extremely fair skinned so we are always on the look out for a light weight sunscreen that works. I saw Dune on instagram and decided to try it and am glad that we did! I have now purchased the full body sunscreen as well!
