Ok so first off I am a fan of Tatcha products and have used them in the past. I was excited to try this silk sunscreen with an SPF of 50 since their products are always top-tier for me. This sunscreen was so lovely. It has a tint to it similar to a light to medium foundation but that disappeared as soon as I rubbed it into my skin. I did not feel like I was wearing a foundation or anything like that. For reference when I do wear foundation which is only like once a week, I wear it thinly and very naturally looking. So for me to say that I did not see this on my skin, literally means, I could not see any evidence of the tint on my skin. I did however love how my skin looked after application. I had a dewy glow that flattered my skin making it look nicer even without the addition of foundation. This is an amazing product by standards. By far my favorite sunscreen for my face.

There’s several things I like about this sunscreen: it’s mineral, it goes on very fluid and lightweight feeling, and it’s tinted. The tint is slightly cool toned and doesn’t provide any coverage. It’s only there to cover the white cast. It didn’t pill over my other face products. The downside for me is the finish. It’s glowy and doesn’t dry down no matter how long you let it set. On my oily, acne prone skin I really like a natural matte finish to my sunscreens. I think I’ll like this better in the winter when my skin is drier. Oh, I forgot to mention, it has only the lightest hint of a fragrance which is just the smell of the ingredients themselves, no added irritating fragrance ingredients.

This sunscreen is okay. It is extremely overpriced for the small amount you get. No way should anyone ever pay $65 for this. That is ridiculous.
The sunscreen is very liquidy. It made it take a little more time to put it on, but it was okay. It’s nice and light. But it’s more like a makeup. It had a pinkish/tan tint to it. It’s not sheer and it does look somewhat like you have makeup on. It’s definitely not for all skin types.
I was a little disappointed in it. It wasn’t really as effective for me as other sunscreens.
It’s okay, but to me it’s just average and not the best fit.

The Silk Sunscreen from TATCHA is a very nice product. As a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, it DOES have a slight tint and does NOT go on sheer. It looks like a light to medium foundation liquid. Now, that said, because of the tint, I can use this instead of foundation (I still use a little concealer with it), and this sunscreen does seem to even my skin tone.
As advertised, this sunscreen really does give my skin a nice glow and a dewy finish.
It’s lightweight and absorbs into my skin well. Also, it’s a big plus that it’s SPF 50… a lot of makeup sunscreen products are only 15 or 30.
Again, this is a very nice product! I would absolutely give it 5-stars if the price was more reasonable (current list price is $64).

I’ve been a longtime fan of TATCHA, using their cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, so I was excited to try their sunscreen. I decided to go with the TATCHA Silk Sunscreen, and I’m impressed with the sleek, slim design of the bottle. It offers SPF 50, which is essential for protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Although the sunscreen appears tinted when first dispensed, it applies smoothly and goes on completely clear, making it perfect for everyday use.

TATCHA The Silk Sunscreen is a game-changer! It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin and provides excellent protection with SPF 50. Just remember to shake the bottle before use. It has a slight tint, similar to a tinted moisturizer, but once applied, it becomes translucent. The finish is dewy and soft, making my skin feel hydrated without being greasy. Highly recommend it for daily use!
