So when I was looking for a cleansing balm I came upon many reviews saying they have to wash after using the balm… exactly! A cleansing balm is meant to break up make up, sunscreen etc.. and prep your face to be washed by a face cleanser. It is not designed to be your only face washing step!

That being said this cleansing balm is amazing. There’s nothing more satisfying after a long day then melting the makeup off your face. After which I follow this product with my favorite face wash. This works great, even getting off my eye makeup .. and it’s very gentle. You just lightly massage it in. Amazon says I’ve purchased this 7 times and I’m getting ready for my 8th jar.

I have just used liquid oil cleansers before switching to this balm, which I had had my eye on for a while. So far, it isn’t like a miracle or anything, but it is a very good cleanser and worth the money in my opinion. You don’t need a lot (maybe a quarter size amount) and it comes with a little scooper which I appreciate. Once it goes on your skin and warms up it definitely feels nice and buttery, but a tiny bit waxy (which makes sense, as wax is one of the ingredients). It washes off well but does leave a very slight residue that comes off with the double cleanse. Out of all the oil cleansers I have tried so far, this one is my top pick!

I have tried quite a few oil cleansers in the last 6-7 years. This is the best one. Better than Farmacy, better than Youth to the People, better than Naturium, and better than any other japanese or korean brands I have tried.
It removes difficult makeup and sunscreen in 60 seconds (that is how long I like to massage my cleansers in) and it feels so silky on the skin. It has a nice slip to it so i never feel that I am tugging at my face. It all melts into my hands as soon as I begin to rub them together. My biggest pet peeve with cleansing balms is that they never fully melt into my hands and i am left with big cleanser chunks between my fingers. That is not the case with this balm. It is perfect.
It does not leave a residue either, if that is something you look for. Personally I never mind either way because Im going to follow with a regular cleanser right after. But this rinses of clean and leaves my face feeling soft.
There is a very pleasant scent to this balm as well. I don’t find it too strong and it doesn’t irritate my skin, either.
Finally, the price is a bit wild for the amount, but honestly, I truly think i will keep coming back because I have never used a better balm and I don’t believe i ever will.

This is hands down the best oil based cleansing balm I’ve ever used. It melts so beautifully into the skin and smells absolutely amazing. It makes any budding blemishes disappear overnight and has cleared up the stubborn bumps I used to just accept as permanent fixtures on my chin. I also LOVE that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry at all. I feel moisturized and glowing after I use it. I now recommend this cleanser to everyone I know!

I feel like a changed woman. I’ve never had a product that I loved so much that I thought “that’s it, this is a product I’ll buy for the rest of my life.” In walks this balm.

I’ve got the most sensitive/reactive skin from tretinoin and this balm did not irritate my skin/eye area whatsoever (even after massaging into my skin for several minutes, see below). Amazing. In my journey to not use Botox, I’ve been exploring skin care from other cultures like k beauty and guasha from TCM. I’ve been wanting to incorporate an occlusive balm for use with my guasha but was never sure on where to put it in my multi-step regimen. Again- in walks this balm, mind blown. It is so luxurious to use with my guasha before my other skin care stuff.

Don’t think, just buy this stuff. I plan on telling everyone I know about it, in hopes that this company will stay in business so I can purchase it forever.

Amidst my skincare journey, I’ve discovered a true gem in the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm. This product has brought a refreshing and delightful twist to my routine. The orange-ish scent is out of this world.

Upon opening the jar, I was immediately greeted by an enchanting aroma that added a touch of luxury to my cleansing ritual. The delicate scent adds a sensory dimension to the experience, transforming my skincare routine into a moment of relaxation and indulgence.

The texture of the cleansing balm is incredibly smooth, allowing it to glide seamlessly onto my skin. The balm’s consistency ensures effortless application, effortlessly dissolving makeup and impurities without any tugging or irritation. This aspect has elevated my cleansing routine, turning it into a serene and effective process.

One of the key highlights of this cleansing balm is its ability to provide a thorough cleanse while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture. After use, my skin feels refreshed and nourished, rather than stripped or dry. This gentle yet effective approach aligns perfectly with my sensitive skin’s needs.

The packaging of the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm is both elegant and practical. The jar’s design is not only visually appealing but also functional, making it easy to scoop out just the right amount of product.

The Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm has introduced a touch of elegance and luxury to my skincare routine. The alluring scent, seamless texture, and effective cleansing properties have redefined my cleansing experience in the best way possible. If you’re seeking a cleansing balm that elevates your routine with a sensory delight while ensuring a gentle yet thorough cleanse, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this product a chance.
