This is the best curl product that I have found in a long time!! After washing my hair, I squeeze the water out but I do not towel dry at all as that will make my hair frizzy. Instead, I scrunch my hair into curls and then I use a finger tip worth of this, rub it on both hands and then scrunch some more. It is not sticky when it dries. My hair is only slightly crunchy when it dries. I scrunch it one more time and my curls wind up soft and well formed. They stay all day without even using any hairspray!! I highly recommend!!

This is the best curl amplifier I have used as a guy. I have wavy hair that breaks into curls using this stuff. Below is the detailed breakdown of this gel.
SCENT
This gel does carry a somewhat feminine scent, and it is pretty potent, but it’s not so feminine that I would recommend against guys wearing it. In fact, another guy friend of mine tried some of this gel I had in my bathroom (he has full curls) and has used it ever since. So while it’s not the best scent a guy can ask for, the benefits outweigh it, especially when considering that there aren’t really ANY curls amplifiers for guys.
TEXTURE/APPLICATION
The texture is smooth but sticky. It’s one of the hardest gels to get off my hands I’ve come across; I will have to wash my hands for 30 seconds rubbing them as if trying to scrape something off of them. I then usually have to use several paper towels or a towel, wash them again, and finally dry them again in order to get everything off. My aforementioned friend with long curly hair down to his shoulders only uses about a nickel sized amount of gel, but he already has full curls so he uses it more as a normal gel rather than a curl amplifier. I use about 2-3 pumps from this bottle (each is about a Quarter size each) for my short but thick wavy hair. This makes it look wet and gives me stronger curls for the entire day. The curl amplifier aspect of it can last several days though, the only downside to this being the white flakes that all dried up gels have.
VALUE
Phenomenal. After the first day of using this, I will often not need to apply it for the next few days until I shower again. I suspect that the curliness of each curl might actually curl even further in the subsequent days after the first application than in the hours after putting it on, for different reasons that I theorize. One such reason could be the weight of the curl reduces when it’s not clumped together, so each strand of hair curls easier and isn’t as bottom-weighted, which can straighten the hair out. This is what makes this product such a great value though; one applications can amplify curls for days, perhaps even a week! And for 10 bucks on Amazon, it’s a steal, especially since Salons sell the same container for double the price.
BOTTOM LINE
It is a must buy, whether you’re a guy or a girl, if you’re looking to have curlier hair. It is especially useful for those who don’t shower every day and don’t want to hassle doing their hair every day, since it has carryover effects to subsequent days after first using. Highly recommended, highly satisfied.

This curl creme is kind of thick, and has a fragrance (only noting if you’re sensitive to smells) but you can apply, scrunch, and go!
If you leave it on without drying it looks like a mousse or gel, but diffused the curls feel soft. I love the curl definition with this creme. I’m on my 2nd bottle and will buy again.

As a fan of Tigi Bed Head Foxy Curls Contour Creme, I gave TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Amplifier a try at the recommendation of my stylist. It achieved similar results to Foxy Curls on my curly shoulder length hair, a good hold and shine, no frizz and not crunchy. However I will not purchase this product again in its current packaging. At 7″ in height with the cap on, the pump container is twice the height that it needs to be for 5.07 fluid ounces of product leaving the actual base of the container mid way up the container when I received it. The base continues to rise as product is used. Not only do I find that to be deceptive packaging but for me the design made using the product problematic in the shower. As the container gets lighter with product use, the massive pump and its cover had become so top heavy that is kept falling over the rail and off of my shower shelf on to my bare feet (ouch!) before hitting the shower floor. After this happened about 3 times I turned the container over which only made the hollowed cylinder fill up with shower water. Today it fell for the last time on to the shower floor and into the trash as I made my way to write this review. Since lots of curly hair care techniques usually begin with wet hair, this product should be better designed for use in the shower. Although it may not be as eye-catching, I would suggest a tube- same for Foxy Curls so we can use the last bit of it.

Este producto me deja el rizo definido pero no apelmazado, muy natural. Después de probar muchísimos productos para definir rizo este sin duda es mi preferido. Llevo utilizándolo varios años porque, al menos a mí me va fenomenal.
Otros productos también me provocaban granitos en la cara y en zonas de la cabeza debido a la grasa pero este no. La textura es perfecta, huele muy bien y sobre todo me deja el pelo muy bonito.
Para mí sin punto de comparación con ningún otro y he probado de todo, incluso otros mucho más caros.
