I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING WITH ALLERIGIES THIS YEAR AND DID SOME RESEARCH. FOUND OUT THAT THE MOUTH HAS GOOD BACTRIA AND BAD BACTRIA, WHICH CAN COST YOUR SINUS TO PLUG UP BECAUSE SOME MOUTH PRODUCTS KILLS ALL THE GOOD BACTRIA. THEN I FOUND OUT BY CHANGING MY MOUTH WASH AND TOOTHPASTE TO ALL NATURAL, NO ALCHOL WOULD HELP CLEAR IT UP. THAT’S WHEN I ORDERED BOTH OF THESE. THREW OUT THE OTHER STUFF AND WOW WHAT A HUGH DIFFERENCE. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT1 I CAN BREATHE BETTER, AND MY MOUTH FEELS GREAT1

I am a big fan of using mouth wash after flossing. This is one of my favorite brands because it has Xylitol in it that has been known to help reduce levels of decay causing bacteria in saliva. Which is a bit of a change from their previous formulation that contained sodium fluoride. I have found that post flossing this mouth wash is the best and I love that it isn’t alcohol based.

I read one article that said Tom’s of Maine mouthwash wasn’t good, because it’s very acid. On the other hand, when I use the ones that are supposedly more alkaline, I get a lot of pain, which I don’t get with this one. I think the alkaline ones may set up an electric current in my mouth, which is naturally acidic — but I don’t know.
Still, I did read online that this one is relatively safe for septic systems, so that’s good.
I may go over to the fluoride version.
All this conflicting chemistry information is confusing.
