Tower 28 has become an absolute staple of mine after I saw it in Angie Hot and Flashy video not long ago. I picked shade 15 Melrose and it’s a great shade match for me, I believe it’s on a neutral side. What I love about this sunscreen is that it looks more like makeup compared to other zinc oxide sunscreens, it’s not as heavy and cakey if one doesn’t layer it too thickly, which I did once and it resulted in heavier, less natural look. By the way, I mostly review the look of tinted sunscreens (not so much the sun protection) when used as an everyday makeup. I wouldn’t wear it to the beach or if I did I would layer it much thicker. I only wear it to walk to and from my car etc.

I have oily, acne prone skin and usually steer clear of tinted sunscreens as they break me out and make my skin oilier than it already is. This is not only acne safe but stays on throughout the day even during physical activity. looks natural on the skin while still providing good coverage, and doesn’t cause too much excess oil! I do not notice any breakouts after wearing all day long. I do find that setting it with a powder helps it last longer and helps the oil production. This is definitely a staple for me this summer.

I’ve tried a lot of tinted sunscreens and I love this one. It’s definitely more of a foundation with the coverage being higher so if you’re looking for just a little tint this might not be the right one for you— but if you want something with more coverage but not as heavy feeling as foundation, give this one a try! I have combination skin and it doesn’t make my skin look oily and doesn’t dry it out either. The color is great— I’m light/neutral and the Melrose was a good fit. It blends well and I apply it with just my fingers. A little goes a long way and the tube lasts me 3-4 months of daily use before I have to reorder.

This is my favorite foundation. I wear it daily and I love that it doesn’t make my skin oily throughout the day and the best part is it doesn’t breakout my skin! I will forever buy this product! (Also check out all the other tower28 products I use them all!)

This product is a 10/10. Sheer out with a light layer applied with your fingers, or use more product and blend in with a brush for more coverage. Either way, it’s great and bonus points for added spf.
