  • THE SECRET TO AGELESS BEAUTY: Combine the rejuvenating powers of retinol with the deep hydration of hyaluronic acid, effectively reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. It’s designed to penetrate deeply, soothing and revitalizing the skin for a visibly smoother, more youthful complexion. Perfect for anyone looking to combat the signs of aging, this serum fades age spots and improves skin texture, ensuring a radiant, glowing appearance.
  • EASY TO USE DIRECTIONS: Begin by cleansing and drying your skin thoroughly. Dispense 3-5 drops of the dark spot corrector and gently apply it to your face, neck, and décolleté area. To enhance the benefits, layer on a moisturizer after application. Remember to apply sunscreen every day, as retinol can heighten your skin’s sensitivity to the sun

Its rapid action ensures that active ingredients are delivered efficiently to the skin’s deeper layers, optimizing their benefits without the wait. Ideal for those with a busy lifestyle, it allows for immediate application of subsequent skincare products or makeup.
  • SUITABLE FOR DRY & SENSITIVE SKIN: Our Serums are mild, hypoallergenic, & free from harsh chemicals that can cause irritation or dryness. They deliver necessary hydration, soothing relief, comprehensive care & gentleness for both dry & sensitive skin
  • DERMATOLOGIST-TESTED & CRUELTY-FREE: Packed with thoughtfully-chosen ingredients you can feel good about! Tree of Life’s commitment to your skin’s health is backed by rigorous dermatologist testing, ensuring top-quality care, while steadfastly maintaining cruelty-free standards.
  • Active ingredients in skincare can sometimes have a distinct smell that some people may find unpleasant. While other brands may add artificial fragrances to mask the smell, these can cause irritation. The smell means that our serums are working while remaining friendly to sensitive skin.

Great product, skin feeling smoother already! The consistency is a little lumpy but works fine. Will order again.

I loves this serum. I am using the second bottle. I find a slight decreasing of fine lines on my face which is a plus point. What i do not like is the lack of info and direction of usage provided. I have spent so much of those expensive French products but i do not see any effect but this Tree Of Life Retinol does. It will takes time, they are not miracle cream but at least i can see improvements.

This works, I noticed a difference immediately. My skin is softer, feels smoother, and wrinkles are less. Price point compared to other top brands is incredible. I was skeptical even after reading great reviews, but am a believer now and will definitely continue using. I use along with my other top brands that I’ve been using for years with little results. Will continue with those until they are gone then going to use only these products with a good facial sunscreen on top because they work and the prices beat the heck out of the top brands that show little to know results. Thank you Tree of Life for making such excellent skin care products that really work. In the skin care world there is so many false claims about effectiveness of the products, but your products work and I appreciate your integrity and ability to make an awesome product with a price point I can afford. I am going to tell all my friends and family about your amazing products. P.S. I usually do not leave product reviews unless I sincerely love the product.

For the price, I don’t think this serum can be beat. My reasoning is below.

First, the things some people may not like:
    – This retinol serum is not “thick,” but it is not like water either. I would put it at a “thin gel” consistency. This isn’t a bad thing in and of itself (you won’t lose it “running away” like watery serums), but some people like the watery-type serums more. This is definitely thicker than water.
    – This serum contains retinol. I know this is an odd reason to say someone may dislike it, but I read a lot of the negative reviews before purchasing this product (I always do), and many of them seemed directly related to retinol itself. Until skin is used to it, which can take a couple of weeks, retinol can burn, flake, and cause skin irritation. I never use new retinol products more than 2-3 times a week until I know my skin is used to it… and if you aren’t willing to do that with any new retinol product, you can expect some irritation.
    – The packaging is more than adequate, and pretty protective, but it is incredibly simple. I assume that’s why it costs less than some other retinol serums on Amazon (they didn’t spend the money on packaging?), but every other retinol I’ve ordered/bought in stores has had pretty nice/fancy packaging. I didn’t mind the packaging because I didn’t buy it for the packaging, and the packaging wasn’t in any way ugly… but it’s not “spiffy,” which might throw some people off (the product itself looks high quality and nice, the contact info is a US company, and the bottle was sealed, so we’re good there).

    Now the good:
    – It has, literally, the same active ingredients as some of the much higher priced serums out there. No joke. I don’t know how this is possible (again, packaging?), but after talking to a few companies through email… there is literally no difference in the active ingredients.
    – It has worked as well for me as my normal, much higher priced retinol-based products. I know each person’s skin is different (disclaimer: my skin is already acclimated to retinol), but I see no difference in my skin between this and my other retinol which was five times the price. Obviously, I didn’t expect a miracle product (I don’t buy into that hype), but at this price I feel it has more than lived up to its value.
    – Many of the ingredients are organic (the title says 72%), and it is vegan (I asked). BONUS!
    – They contacted me in an email after I ordered and told me they have a 100% money-back guarantee, even if the bottle is empty. I think that’s a bit ridiculous, especially as this cost me less than $11, but who am I to judge… I won’t be sending it back, but evidently you can if you want to.
    – The product came with a card which had their customer service’s email on it (I used it to ask if the serum was vegan, which it is).
Oh, and I got a message after I emailed them, from the “founder of the company,” asking if I had any questions on how to use the serum, asking if I was “satisfied,” and reminding me that if I didn’t like it I could return it for a refund. I didn’t respond, but was pretty impressed by the fact they reached out on an $11 product.

For the reasons above, I feel I can give this product a solid 5-stars. If I change my mind for any reason (if it stops working as well as my normal retinol, for instance), I will update this, but I have definitely gotten my money’s worth.

I have read their vit c serum is fairly decent, so may try that next. I am still undecided as I like my current c serum, so would appreciate anyone who has used it responding to this to give me your thoughts (I prefer “verified purchase” responders please, because I trust those more).

Thank you for reading, and if my review helped, please vote it up below.

Only 3 weeks now since I’ve started using a retinol serum, I like the texture, the silky feel on my face and hands after applying it, but I think that is too soon to see a major change on the skin imperfections. I’ll keep using it every night before sleep, so far the bottle is half, (soon I’ll order the second one), I’m happy that it lasts so long. It’s true that a little serum goes on all face, neck and hands.

I like this product because it contains retinol as well as hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid makes my skin look and feel nice, and should offset some of the irritation from the retinol. I was a bit nervous the retinol in this product may not be effective because of others saying it caused no irritation, effective retinol does often cause at least some minor irritation during initial treatment. After a week or so of use I didn’t notice visible irritation but I did notice my skin becoming a bit more sensitive at times. I am not one of those people who thinks that products need to sting or they aren’t working, but that minor irritation did prove to me that the retinol in my bottle is effective due to the nature of retinol. Like I said before, the hyaluronic acid in the product may offset the irritation a bit. I think this is a great product, it seems to be working nicely and I like the formulation. You do need to use a teensy bit more product than I find with some serums because this product doesn’t have as much slip or spread quite as well, but you still don’t need to use much. This isn’t a problem for me, though, because retinol should be repurchased every month or so anyway because after that period of time the effectiveness is really decreased due to exposure to air, unless it is in a vacuum-sealed bottle. I like this product a lot and will be repurchasing.

EDIT: I’m now a month in and this product is definitely working, my icepick acne scars are really starting to fade and my sebacious hyperplasia, which are permanent bumps on my skin caused by skin overgrowth in my oil glands, are diminishing. Keep in mind that retinol is more effective when not combined with an acidic product, so I use my face wash with Beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid – a pore cleanser) in the morning when I use my other serum, and use a cleanser without any acids in it at night before I apply this serum. I also ceased my alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) night cream so as to give this product the full benefit. I had begun applying it before my skin was 100% dry after cleansing since when my skin is ever so slightly damp the product does spread easier, resulting in an ability to use less product, but keep in mind that doing things that way (slightly damp skin) does cause the retinol to penetrate the skin deeper which can cause more irritation. I have actually just repurchased this product even though I have quite a bit left, because retinol that is not packaged in a vacuum seal is most effective within the first month or so after opening due to gradual breakdown of the retinol as it is exposed to air. So in the future I will be applying it to totally dry skin, which is the suggested way, and just using a bit more product since I am repurchasing it monthly and there is definitely enough to get through a month with slightly more liberal application than I was doing.

  9. Good products, but I don’t like smell.
